I purchased a vehicle from Champs with a 3 month warranty, back on 5/27/23. There were a few issues right off the bat (ie A.C. wasn't cooling, several scratches, tires were low) They repaired the items within 3 days of my purchasing the car. Fast forward to July 18, 2023 I was coming up the mountain and the speedometer/RPM were stuck at 30,000 and took awhile to come back down, I called Champs and they stated that they were very busy as people had gone on vacation and that I could take my car anywhere as the warranty should be valid anywhere. I made an appointment at ***** dealership in Front Royal, VA where I live for 7/20/23 which was two days prior to me leaving for vacation to Florida. On Tuesday the 25th while I was still in Florida I had a friend drop my car off at Champs because the Estimate sheet that I received from ***** stated several items that were extremely bizarre and basically stated that this car was not what I thought I was buying. ( I have included the estimate sheet) It states that the engine looks like it was recently removed and replaced with a used one and that the steering is way off center, additional the check engine light was on and pulled a code of **** which is either a oxygen or speed sensor. When I purchased this vehicle, none of this was indicated on the *** ***. They sold this car under false pretenses. It appears in my opinion to be a lemon. In addition to all of this, they have been remiss in calling to update me with a status on my car. They have had it for 6 days now and I have had to rent a vehicle at my own expense to get around. I want the repairs to be done but Champs has stated that these items are not under warranty.
