Mr. ******* purchased this vehicle in September of 2024.  He recently reached out to us to inform us that he no longer wanted the vehicle.  We told him that we would be unable to purchase the vehicle back from him at this time due to the fact that he has negative equity in the truck, which is almost always the case with new purchases or loans.  You cannot simply return a vehicle to the dealership 5 months after purchasing it because you decide that you no longer want it.  We explained to him that he financed the vehicle through a bank and would need to contact the bank directly if he no longer wanted to continue making payments.  He was fully aware of the lift kit when he purchased the vehicle.  In fact, he specifically purchased that particular truck because he wanted something that was lifted like that one was.  It has no damage, but it is true that lift kits often show on the vehicle history report as a "Structural Alteration".  That has nothing to do with why he no longer wants the truck.  If he doesn't want the truck because his payments are too high, then he needs to either trade it in for a smaller car, or sell it and use the money to pay off his loan with the bank so that he can transfer the title to the new owner's name.  OR, he could find someone willing to take over the payments and work with them to try and have the loan transferred to the new owner.  We're not completely sure exactly what it is that he expects the dealership to do.  At the end of the day, this is a problem between him and the bank, the dealership has nothing to do with any of it.  Nobody was ever rude to him, unless by rude, he means that we were honest when we explained to him that we would be unable to completely unwind his purchase several months after the fact.  Unfortunately, that is completely unrealistic.

On 5/22/2023 we purchased a **** truck (F-150) and financed through Navy ********************* On the contract, it clearly states that NFCU hold the loan. Off Lease Motors have failed to provide the title to NFCU. I have talked with them twice and they stated it would be done in a week. We are now 3 months waiting on the title to be transferred to NFCU. I need this resolved or I will have to pay extra over the loan amount. **** was the last person I talked with at Off Lease

We processed the paperwork and registered the vehicle within 30 days of the customer's purchase per VA law.  Apparently, there was some sort of issue in which Online Dealers never received the electronic title release form that the title clerk sent out when the deal was processed.  What followed was a simple miscommunication.  The vehicle showed as registered in our system and the title was supposed to be electronically transferred to Navy Federal, so the individuals at the store were under the impression that everything had been processed months ago.  Upon hearing that Navy Federal still had not received the title, our title clerk was able to remedy the situation and resend the paperwork within an hour two of hearing from the customer.  The situation has been resolved and we have spoken with the customer regarding this issue already.
