I dropped my Honda Pilot for Transmission repair to this shop on Apr 23/2022 The owner said Diagnostic results confirm an internal Transmission failure- Next step is to remove Transmission and teardown inspection-The labor is $1695 includes assembly & installation (parts cost not included). I've agreed with that and had paid, so he promised to finish everything within the following 5 days. I gave repeated calls and text to him if update me the work progress, but he was not answering. On the 6th day Apr,29/2022 he had sent me an invoice to pay $8401.31 for the parts and labor. I paid the balance amount deducting the previous payment and urged him to work as fast as possible. He then promised again to finish everything within 5 days, but nothing happened. In May 3/2022 he had a text to me "We special order the Transmission & hopefully arrive today so we can install." After a while he wrote again "The Transmission will be here tomorrow I just made a follow up call with Honda" In May 5/2022 I've just text to him again what was going on? and he wrote "I just checked Honda Chantilly they do not have a Transmission in stock.. has to be special order 5-7 days... your transmission has already be shipped by Honda American from Ohio. they told me the Transmission should arrive Monday or Tuesday May 10...." So my question is how long do I have to stay like this just exchanging sentences? It's almost 3 weeks since I've given my best condition Honda pilot to get repaired at AAMCO. Nothing done even after I've paid the whole amount in advance.... Sorry... So please, please help me, Do something it's my working vehicle.... Thanks
