    On October 30th, 2021 my 2017 Range Rover Sport was towed to German Auto Group. On November 1st, ****, Service Advisor, called me to inform me that my vehicle will. need a new thermostat, fan, hose and PCV Kit. When I picked up the vehicle on Tuesday evening on my way home I thought I saw smoke coming from the care and due to the rainfall and mist from the road I dismissed it. The. following morning I set out to drive to Delaware to pick up some equipment for my biz and that was when I say a little smoke coming from the vehicle. When I got to Delaware I discovered that there was problem because oil was all over the lift gate, underneath the *** was a lot of oil as shown in the picture, and when we looked underneath the hood oil was all over the engine. (See email form *************Wilmington). I called and sent pictures to *****, **** and the assistant at German Auto Group. Before heading back I took the vehicle to ********************* instead of the gas station like **** suggested I do. A few days later *********************** was able to confirm that the engine was damaged due to coolant mixing with with oil and going into the combustion chamber. When I contacted German Auto they refused to take any responsibility for their poor work. ******************** confirmed that shops do not have the required equipment to work on the 2017 Land Rover Sport vehicles or newer ones, and had several vehicles that independent shops tried to work on when they knew they should not do so. To date German Auto Group has refused to replace the engine or even provide a loaner.

    I dropped my car off for a repair and was told one price on the phone and when I picked it up the price was $400 higher. I emailed the person handling my repair for a total and he couldn't provide one cause he was new and not familiar with the process. The repairs were done and when I came to pick up the car i was stuck with a $1,400 bill and not the $900 that i was told over the phone.
