    I received a notice that I have a collection from VANCEHUFFMAN on my credit report. It says it was opened on 01/22/2020 for 296 with account number starting in ********* that I am not aware of nor am I responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed any agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FCRA and FDCPA.

    I would like for this collection to be removed asap or I will file a **** and FTC report.

    Vance and Huffman have reviewed *** ********* complaint. On 8/25/2020 Vance and Huffman received a dispute through e-oscar. There has been no contact with *** ******* at any time since the account was obtained on 1/22/2020 other than responding to his disputes. An initial letter was sent on 1/30/2020 to make *** ******* aware that his account was now in our office and to please contact Vance and Huffman to resolve. The account was opened on 4/30/2015 paid on through 7/30/2016, last payment in the amount of *******. The charge off date was 1/26/2017. On 12/15/2020 we received a 2nd dispute and the account was validated. On 10/22/2021 we received 3rd a dispute and again all documentation was sent for *** ******* to review. On 6/13/2022 we received a 4th dispute and again all validation was mailed to *** ******* for his review. On 11/25/2022 we received a 5th dispute and at this point validation was sent on numerous occasions, *** ******* has never contacted the department to speak in regards as to his dispute. If *** ******* would like to contact the office, we will be more than happy to assist him in any way we can in regard to his dispute.
