    I order my cap and gown from this company on April 10, 2025 five days before the deadline. Up until this point i haven’t received anything regarding shipping. I called the company on May 01, 2025 to confirm it would arrive before my ceremony on May 10, 2025 and was ensure led that it would. On May 06, 2025 I reached out again and was told it wouldn’t arrive until the week after. This is completely unacceptable and now i can’t attend my graduation unless I put out more money. Thanks for nothing Oak Hall Cap and Gown. You will never get another dime from me.

    They never really answer the phones. I question if they’re actually working. I am starting to believe this company is fraudulent. I ordered a cap in gown which came. I talked to one woman before it arrived to try to cancel the order before it shipped since I got one in person faster. She said I couldn’t but I could ship it back to the address and they would refund. I have email receipts of instructions from them. I sent it back via ups even payed 20+ for expedited. After typing this I finally got on the phone with someone after days of attempting to call them. The woman then told me that they can send me an email or anything letting me no they got it and we’re processing my return until 30 to 60 days. I was livid. The least they could do is let me know they received it and will process my refund within 30 to 60. They refuse to do that. I will let my bank know of this situation. And on day 60 if I don’t hear from them or before, then I will be disputing it. Until then, I refuse to pay it off my credit card statement. The whole company is trash. I cannot believe my school is using them for regular services. I will also be sending an email to my school, letting them know the situation so that they could perhaps use another company.

    If you're reading this before ordering from here, I implore you to explore other options for your cap and gown needs. I ordered from here on April 4th in anticipation of a graduation photoshoot on April 26th. I did not receive an email regarding my order being shipped through the 26th, causing me to scramble to find an alternative. I then sent an email asking to cancel the order with no response. A few days later, I received a separate email with a different order number saying that the order was shipped. At this point, I already had regalia from elsewhere and just wanted to return the purchase and be done with the company. I sent an email asking for information on returns and this email has not been responded to for over a week. I've called multiple times and have been on hold for 30+ minutes both times without reaching an agent. This company is bordering on a scam, please avoid if possible.

    The customer service is absolutely horrible. I placed a rental order 90 days early and never received any shipping updates. Within
    30 days, I requested a cancellation through both emails and phone. They promised to "escalate" the cancellation request. Two weeks later, still no response. I called them again and they said they cannot cancel anymore. According to them, "escalating" cancellation doesn't mean accepting cancellation, and there is no email informing me anything. This is definitely a scam to deny justifiable request.
    For any colleges and universities cooperating with this business, I highly suggest avoiding them for your students and faculty's benefit.

    I am sorry that you had a negative experience in your attempt to cancel this order. A refund was submitted and should show on your credit card of purchase in 5-7 business days.

    This company is so unreliable. I ordered my cap and gown regalia for my graduation, which is in May and my order was dated back in March. I spoke with people in the company and they assured me that everything would be ready for my graduation. My graduation is in two days and I received an email stating that nothing will be delivered to me in time for my graduation and to call my school to get a Back up regalia. I spent $1400 on my order and it hasn’t even been started. This company is completely egregious and their behavior and the way they treat their customers

    I ordered a graduate package with a cap, gown, academic hood, and tassel for my Master’s graduation which is this Saturday, April 27th.
    When I tried on my gown after opening the package, I discovered that the sleeves were completely sewn shut and the seams are very tightly sewn together. I won’t be allowed to walk at graduation with the sleeves being sewn shut.
    Paying over $100 for this graduate package to receive such a massive quality control issue is extremely irresponsible of this company.

    Hi Kerry,The design of a Master’s gown has an extra length on the sleeve to indicate the status of your degree. The arm hole is before this extra part of the gown.     I rented doctorate regalia and paid the fees before the deadline. Hours before graduation, after trying to contact them for days, I received a plain gown without the special embossed color for my discipline. When I called to share my dissatisfaction, I was told I would receive a full refund. That day I received an email stating they had refunded the $265 but the next day my account showed only 132.50 (50%) had been sent to the bank. I called to find out what happened and they had to call me the next day with an answer. They stated that since I did receive the item by graduation and only the gown was wrong, they only refunded half of the cost. I asked why I did not receive an updated email stating the change and I had to contact them for information. They pulled the old bait and switch. Tell me something nice to “resolve the issue” but actually did not deliver what they promised. Terrible customer service. I will not use this vendor again.

    I ordered my PhD regalia on March 15, 2023 and it never arrived from my graduation. I sent numerous emails with no response.I spent hours on hold to speak with a customer service representative who then told me my regalia was shipping. My graduation was on May 24, 2023 and my regalia never arrived. When I called the company on the afternoon of 5/24, they told me that my regalia still had not shipped and they were sorry. After all of the work to complete a PhD Oak Hall nearly nearly ruined my ability to participate in graduation. Their customer service is terrible and they take no ownership for the detrimental impact they have in people’s special events.

    Ordered my regalia on April 20. Have not gotten any sort of confirmation email and only have the purchase proof on my credit card. It is now May 20, and I still have no word on where my regalia is. Sent an email with no response. Terrible.

    I wish Universities did not make us order from Oakhall. They are the worst! I will not be getting my cap and gown for graduation and they have the worst customer service.
