The only reason I give them one star is because the chef was amazing. The service from the time we walked in the door was awful. I called and made reservations earlier in the day. I let them know it was my sons birthday. They asked if I wanted his name on the marquee and I said yes please. When we arrived it was not on there. We did arrive 15 minutes early and let them know we were there. They instructed us to wait until our full party arrived. Our full party arrived by 7:30. We had two people waiting outside we let them know they said our full party had to be inside. We got the other two people inside and let them know our full party was there they then told us we needed to wait for a table to be cleared 20 minutes later we were seated. The waitress was rude from the time she came to the table. We had someone in our party who had a seafood allergy and wanted to let her know upfront- she stopped us mid sentence and said to tell her when we ordered our food. When we went to order our food we were told that there was not a sushi chef. There was not a sign on the door or anything giving notice that there would not be sushi. We went ahead and ordered and again made sure the waitress was aware of the food allergy to which she replied I Know. We did order sushi from somewhere else and my son did bring it in the manager rudely came over to to table addressed my teenage son — Not any of the adults to address the situation- he was very rude and the situation could have been handled very different. This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a restaurant- when your chef is apologizing for the mangers rudeness and the way he handled a situation it’s a sign. Will not return and will strongly discourage anyone I know from going here.
