            In May 2022, we hired Shawn & ****** to repair our outside deck. They had a good plan and we paid them for all the materials upfront, ~$12,600. The materials were never ordered. They put up 2 outside 12ft 6x6 in poles. They also covered these poles with white plastic. The materials we needed were new underneath gutters, under the composite plastic to stop the rain, electrical work, outside drainage system, fence repairs, and new lattice installed. We only received 4 poles and lattice. Payment for the materials was through Pay Pal. The work was supposed to be completed by June 4. In late July they started not to answer our calls. We even had conversations with their gutter vendor who happened to be their friend who is probably part of this scam.

            Shawn was originally hired to put together a metal shed purchased prior to his hire. He convinced me to allow him to construct an all wood shed. He was given funds to purchase the material. He began the project but did not complete it. He also was hired for two additional jobs on the property. He installed a back door but took three weeks to return to seal the door. Causing additional issues inside the home. He never installed the screendoor as agrred upon. He over charged for basic material as well. He oftentimes did not call or show up and like the other complaint filed, he stopped answering calls and texts. He and his "crew" were messy; leaving materials and trash on the property. He stained the driveway (and personal items) with cement. Shawn still owes me $1,000 for materials and unfinished jobs. I ultimately had to hire a real contractor. I tried to give him a chance which was an awful idea. Beware doing business with this man.
