Nicely Done was hired and contracted (6/7/2022) for a deck project that had an estimated 4-6 week completion date. Due to the poor quality, workmanship and communication from all parties contracted this turned into nearly a 6 month process to complete (11/18/2022). Multiple contractors, project managers, owner and CEO were all involved at some point during this, somehow there were still gaps in communication within the company. At one point an associate of Nicely Done attempted to apologize but also called me the guinea pig for the subcontractor that was used. I was their trial project, a 35k project should be treated as such. I kept getting endless excuses, broken commitments and people not showing up as expected to complete the project. It was not until the owner stepped in did the project get completed. After his third project manager during the build failed to give him the correct information. I accommodated every request start to finish that Nicely Done had requested. Time, money and patience and yet I was still left with nothing but a subpar and botched project. I had to continuously over-communicate the issues. I only wanted a quality product produced.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/23/2022

Good morning Mr. ********,        We apologize for the unintended delay and quality of the work originally
done at your residence, by no fault of yours. The owner of Nicely Done Contracting
did come to your house, viewed the workmanship and had the deck completed to
your standards which was completed on November 18, 2022. On Monday November 21,
2022, you personally met with the owner, walked the deck and inspected it with him
and told him you were satisfied with the work and you made the final payment.
You thanked him for stepping in and making things right, and the owner gave you
a partial refund at that time, to again show his willingness to make things
right. At this point, we feel we have satisfied our obligations. From the office Nicely Done Contracting,

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Yes, I did indeed wall the project woth the owner an thanked he for taking ownership. I did submit final payment, the company did reward a gross negligence check. I would not classify this as a partial refund.
    Regards,
