    BBB unable to locate business
    Prepaid dog daycare. The daycare can be rolled over if a dog passes. Then around thanksgiving the phone number has been disconnected and website has been inoperable. Cross Roads West Veternairan has taken over the space and stated Barker's Inn would refund prepaid doggy daycare. No response since November. FYI The vet who own's Cross Roads West is the brother of the owner of Barkers Inn. Dr. Bart M*****

    At first, I loved this place. My newly adopted, yet highly loved companion got to play with other dogs, run around and socialize with other folks and animals of his kind. I'd bring him home and he'd have to pee like he had been so busy interacting with other people or pups that he just hadn't gotten around to it. He would drink two entire bowls of water (and they're not small) as if he had been dehydrated from being so active. This was every time I brought him home. This past experience was a complete 180. I arrived at a later time while they were cleaning up and saw my little guy all locked up in a cage by himself while everyone else was able to roam around freely and coexist. While I'm not able to pinpoint that this is the reason my dog comes home and drinks as if he hasn't been able to hydrate for hours or pees like he hasn't been out all day, I am familiar enough with his mannerisms and behaviors to know that this is not normal behavior. The folks there seem nice, but to consistently put my dog through whatever treatment they've put him through is unacceptable and they will no longer be getting my business.

    No one at Barker's Inn knows this person , ******* ******* , so we can only assume it's a fake review. Probably generated by the same disgruntled former employee who has been getting her friends to leave fake reviews everywhere.

    I received a response about how I may be a friend of a disgruntled employee, but have been taking my dog there every other weekend for well over a month. This shows just how seriously they take things like this and is even more disheartening.

    I would also like to add that if the BBB would like receipts for validation, I have a bank statement verifying that I have had business with Barker's Inn multiple times, and while they may not know me they know all about my dog.

    I’m sorry for constantly adding comments but this whole ordeal has me upset. I would also like to add that late last night (9/24) there was a charge on my account for $** despite the business not knowing who I am. Instead of taking the review on the chin, they’re trying to discredit what I’m saying by claiming I’m just the friend of a disgruntled employee, which is not the case at all. I know what I saw and given my dogs behavior when I brought him home from there, I am certain that my dog is not treated properly while there and it’s heartbreaking. Who knows how other dogs are treated when their owners aren’t around?
