We hired Agnor Home Renovations to install an under deck, waterproof ceiling, at our home. ***** came to our home, with his assistant, to look at the job to be performed and take measurements. He confirmed that he was able to do the job, that it would be installed properly so that the product would be covered under warranty & confirmed the materials we needed to order. We purchased the zipup materials ($3945.62) and hired Agnor home renovations to install. The job was done the week of 8/13/21. Upon completion, he was paid $1400 for labor and $520 for additional materials he said he needed to complete the job. Less than 3 weeks later, we discovered it was leaking. We contacted ***** Agnor & provided him with pictures/video. He said he would come look at it, but to date, has never come back. During the same time, we developed a mosquito problem. The pest company thought it was coming from the deck & treated the area. We also removed a panel of the ceiling to check for standing water, and that is when we discovered that manufacturer recommendations were not followed & water issues were due to improper installation. Some of the issues we were able to easily identify, just from the section we removed, included rails that were not spaced properly, rails not secured to every joist, finishing nails used to attach ************ trim, no silicone used to create a seal or to prevent water from flowing behind wall trim, panels not ending at center of gutter. The entire ceiling needs to be removed and reinstalled correctly. We ordered replacement zipup materials, for what we knew wouldnt be able to be reused (from the section removed, although there may be additional materials needed once the remainder of the ceiling is taken down). We have reached out to Agnor Home Renovations on multiple occasions, asking to have this problem fixed. When there had been no attempt to fix the work, we asked for a refund, but have not received a response.
