    I recently used Window King to replace a patio door at my home. It took approximately four months for the door to arrive and about two weeks to have it installed. I choose Window King without hesitation from using them on window replacement at another residence previously. The installer arrived several hours late from the scheduled arrival time. The installer boosted numerous times about how he had installed thousands of doors, however mine was installed backwards. It wasn't until I looked at the brochure and sending pictures to the business assistant at Window King did she concur it was definitely installed backwards. The screen was damaged and a new one was ordered. The installer knew nothing about molding be installed and was not prepared to do that during the scheduled install date. After the new screen arrived several weeks later, the installer returned to install the door correctly, however the new screen was the wrong size. It was realized that when the door was installed backwards that screws were drilled into the center panel of the door and now were exposed. Nothing was mentioned about that, the installer quickly left and again I had to contact the business assistant and inquire about that. Another screen was ordered and the installer returned to finish that part of the job and to complete the install of the molding, and replace the door with a new door that housed the mysterious screws. There are many pictures and text messages to document the lack of quality workmanship by Window King. There was very little to no communication by the owner and it was only after I contacted the business assistant and demanded that the owner make an appearance to see first hand my concerns did he. This was the only the second time that I had seen him, the first was him selling the door. The door overall is beautiful, however it did not come without a cost. I do not recommend Window King to install doors. Personal letter sent with final payment, waiting for a response.

Everything that could possibly go wrong with your job did. Our explanations behind the changes and delays, damage during shipment, mistakes on the job, and lack of communications are understandably to you just excuses that don’t change the fact that these problems caused you inconveniences on more than one occasion. For all of this, we sincerely apologize. We understand your overall experience with your door installation was disappointing but we are very relieved that all issues were resolved and that your job was finally completed. We appreciate you and thank you very much for your time and patience with our company and crew throughout.
