Pratte Construction is nothing more than a group of fine talking * guys! They lead me on for over six months with promises of, "We're working on it, or the Veterans Administration doesn't answer our phone calls." But nothing concrete. I'd call my contact at the VA and would be told that Pratte Construction has NOT called them. Pratte Construction were to have done an electrical hook-up for me and didn't show up until three weeks after they said he would be here. Again, just one excuse after another. That cost me over six-hundred dollars in gasoline bills! One of the things they were to have done was to install an elevator in my house. Pratte would have built the shaft for the elevator and "Mobility Works" was to have installed the actual elevator. I need this because I am a 90% disabled 20-year veteran. So I contacted my point of contact with Mobility Works to see if he could get me any kind of discount at all. About 10 days after contacting Mobility Works I called them again to see if he'd heard anything. By the way, Mobility Works performs fantastically. I was told he had not contacted anyone because Pratte Construction had decided NOT to do my work! I informed Mobility that I had heard nothing at all from Pratte. For the next two weeks I tried repeatedly to contact them, but my calls were never answered. They'd go to voice mail. Finally I used a friends cell phone, called Pratte and they answered after three rings. I spoke with Danny who I caught up in one lie after another with all his excuses. He promised me that today, Mar 24, 2022 he would e-mail me something saying Pratte would not be doing my work. Well, that was just one more lie coming from his mouth. I come from a family of businessmen who owned their own businesses. When I grew up, if you could not read a blue-print, you did not have the right to talk at the dinner table. So at 12 years old I had one of my older brothers teach me how to read one. *** Ed ******
