      On Jun 9th I dropped my 2016 Camaro ss with Casey Chevrolet in ************ VA due to my vehicle having issues turning over. The diagnosis was the clutch and brake pedal switch. I pick my car up and drive it and yet again the car is not starting. Upon towing it back I attempt to get an offer to sell it as is. The sales manager makes me an offer contingent upon ensuring that the sunroof can actually open and close. Roughly 7 more days elapses for me to get a verbal denial to purchase the vehicle from me. The one concern of the sunroof closing and opening was checked and fully functional. A multi-point inspection was done during that last drop off and reflected the car passed, with no recommendations required, which was weird as to why they would deny the purchase. Since the sale fell through I had no choice but to go get a 2nd diagnosis which stated a failed starter. Approximately 8 days later it was fixed. The manager refused to speak to me on the phone on my way to pickup the car. Upon arrival he avoids me three times to come out after 6pm to say, I needed to leave because service is now closed. He then proceeds to call me jackass and kicks me out of the establishment with two other witnesses at that time! On my way home the car cuts off on the interstate which caused me to fear for my life while aggravating my PTSD due to the recent stress from the faulty mechanical diagnosis, 24 days with no vehicle, and the recent disrespect from the manager. I am now $2627.85 in repairs, two breakdowns, and two tow expenses and still my vehicle is inoperable! This is now the 3rd starter that they put in, within an approximate 4 year period of me owning that car. Looking for any type of help since I am on a fixed income as a 100% disabled veteran and have no clue how I am going to afford to spend another dime on this vehicle and let alone make ends meet for my family household, due to these unnecessary stressors that Casey Chevrolet has caused me.

      Wish I could give negative stars!
      Vehicle broke down out of town near this dealership. Had towed here bc our 2021 chevy was still under warranty. Took three business days to recieve a diagnosis. Was told to call GM ourselves to open claim. Then found out they did it as well. Waited a month for back ordered engine to arrive (entire time with no car- dealership does not provide loaners and GM warranty only reimburses 6-8 weeks AFTER work completed). Every time we called, our service provider Mary was unavailable. Each time we got information from a service provider (we always had to call-they rarely called us), Mary would call days later with conflicting information, even different from what GM had in our warranty file.
      Engine finally arrives, takes several days for repair to be completed. Now there magically is another problem we have to pay out of pocket for which we refuse. We arrive on the weekend when we could travel to retrieve the car and they hold the car hostage until we pay a labor charge on the extra repairs we refused. Service manager not in, sales manager unhelpful. Car was covered in snow and had to be jumped (despite it being a 'new' battery). All around terrible communication, no paperwork provided for new engine or battery warranties, and our GM warranty rep has filed an official complaint- she had issues getting them to even answer a phone or provide information the whole time. From the looks of other reviews, service department should be shut down for incompetence.

      In reference to the above concern,
      the vehicle had a no start condition that was inspected by Technician on
      12/11/24. Technician found that the battery cable had been disconnected and
      that the battery was leaking acid. This repair had to be made in order for us
      to diagnose the vehicle. The other concern was for a check engine light on. The
      vehicle was 3 quarts low on oil and had misfire codes. The engine was replaced
      to repair vehicle under warranty. When the engine was ordered it was
      backordered with No ETA. Parts were ordered on 12/11/25 and the engine arrived
      on 1/14/25. Gasket and Seal kit arrived 1/21/25 the Tech started replacing the
      engine on 1/20/25 and completed 1/21/25



      Unfortunately, we do not have any
      control over the parts delays as they come from the manufacture. We promptly
      made repairs to the vehicle as soon as all parts were received.



      The Service Manger has made several attempts to reach the
      owner of the vehicle to discuss the situation but he has not heard back. If they
      can reach out we would be more than happy to discuss this matter with the owner
      of the vehicle which is a different name than the one listed on the BBB.

      I paid $***** to Casey BMW to fix an issue with my **** *** **** Within 20 days of the repair, the same problem recurred, showing that the initial repair was either incomplete or ineffective. When I returned the vehicle, the business refused to honor their original promise to fix the issue and instead demanded additional payment to address the same problem.
      To make matters worse, they made me wait an entire month before they would even attempt to address their mistake. This unnecessary delay caused significant inconvenience, as I had already trusted them to resolve the issue promptly during the initial repair.
      During my visit to discuss the recurring problem, the staff acted unprofessionally, laughing and repeatedly stating, “It was messed up before you brought it in.” This dismissive attitude completely disregarded the fact that I brought the car to them specifically for that problem, which they assured me they could fix.
      This experience has been financially and emotionally draining, as I risked my savings to pay for the original repair. The dealership’s refusal to acknowledge their failure, compounded by the month-long delay and unprofessional behavior, is unacceptable.
      I am seeking one of the following:
      A full refund of ****** or for the problem to be fixed at no additional cost. Also, an acknowledgment of their failure to perform the agreed-upon service and delay an unprofessional conduct. I was also told when I took it back to them i was told 12/10/24 I would have to spend more thousands of dollars to get it right when I just gave them ** to fixed the same problem!!! This place deserves 0 stars

      WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Bought a new car. Had problems within one week! Had serviced, refused to loan a car for me to drive. Without a car for a week. Picked it up and within 24 hours had the same problem. Took it back, demanded a loaner car, they did give me one. After 10 days, they called and said they couldn't get the part, but I had to come get my car and bring back the loaner. Bottom line, I've had the car 3 months and it still hasn't been fixed. Asked to talk to managers, etc. They send me to voicemail and NEVER return a call. I had a person answer when I called and he put me on hold and forgot to push the button, he and a female coworker laughed about me and my situation and joked on me. When I yelled through the phone that I could hear them, he hung up on me, then called back and said his phone had a problem. I have been given date after date that my car would be fixed. I wait and wait until the date they put me off until and then call again and then they say the previous person didn't know what they were talking about and that I have to wait another week or so... This has really been a horrible experience. I just wanted a reliable car to drive. I WISH I WOULD HAVE LITERALLY BOUGHT MY CAR ANYWHERE ELSE! So 3 months later and paying car payments on a car that should have been right, still isn't. Not to mention that I have spent more than 30 hours trying to get it resolved. AND I have made 4 trips to the dealership which is over an hour drive from my house! They even told me that if Chevrolet made perfect cars they wouldn't have a job!

      I just basically got s****** by Casey Honda in Newport News I'm being charged $*** for them to basically tell me I need a new battery, then I asked since nothing else was done but the battery how much less would it be and Shelby told me *even if his time was 20 minutes it's still **** that's just how shops work". Times are hard Shelby but I guess you wouldn't know cuz y'all are taking advantage of poor people. You want $*** for the battery **** for the battery and the car payment too .. wow

      Valarie M************* had her car towed in because it would not start. Shelby told her there would be $****** diagnostic charge which she agreed to , it was determined that she needed a new battery which she agreed to purchase. Shelby told her that we charge a 1 hour diagnostic fee as with every vehicle bought in to our facility to diagnose the problem. The customer told us she had diagnostics done at a parts store, we told her we could not rely on that verbal information from another and would have to make our own assessment when any vehicle is bought into our facility for repairs.

      I bought a 2014 jeep wrangler from Casey Chevrolet upon picking it up it was found that the ac blower motor was not working so I was told and given some piece of paper saying it would be repaired then I was informed part was on back order I have called several ties with no response or run around answers so i started looking for part myself and what do you know I found it in stock in no less than three different places I am exploring other options to return this vehicle and cancel the contract as I feel this dealership is dishonest

      Bought a car from Casey Chevrolet with a trade in. Four months later, they still have not provided or transferred my tags and registration. After constant emails from me and poor communication from them, it seems that customer service is not a priority. They have sent me 30 day extensions on two different occasions but that was after request from me, and from me having to drive illegally. All I want to is have my car registered. After all, they charge over ****** *** “tags title registration”. I would do it myself but even after paying off the small finance balance I had after the trade in, ** financial doesn’t know where my title is.

      As Mr. R******** had out of state tags and registration it has definitely taken longer than it should have to process through our out of state titling company.


      We have extended his 30day tags for him so he is not driving on an expired tag/registration.


      Our title clerk has been in touch with Mr. R******** and as of today he has acknowledged that he has received his title and registration from his state

      So the service department calls me on 11-28 to set up an appointment to do recall warranty work on my 2022 Kia Sorento . I ask will they have the part in stock and be able to complete an oil change at the same time. My husband took the vehicle in for this appointment on 12-7-2023 and surprise, they do not have the part to fix the warranty problem.
      This is the 4 th time that this has happened to us on warranty repair work. In September I had to call the corporate office regarding the last warranty work problem we had after taking the vehicle in on 3 separate occasions, and they assured us the work could be performed and they would have the parts. I had to go to the corporate office to finally get it done.
      I work in customer service, but for the life of me I can not understand the total lack of organization regarding scheduling work and having the correct parts to do the scheduled work. If I did that to my customer's I would not have any income whatsoever. I have called Ed who is in charge of Service and Parts at Casey Kia and will see if he calls me back regarding this last problem.
      I spent a small fortune on this vehicle and an extended warranty for this car, and expect to get the work done for any and all repairs that I am entitled to. If you tell me you are going to fix a manufacturer recall from Kia , I would think that you would make sure you have what you need to do it. The car is excellent, but the service and parts department is an issue.

      Be aware of Casey Toyota Williamsburg. Worse experience from any dealer in 30 years! I purchased a used vehicle there and the sales person was good overall. However, the issues started with the finance manager. After informing him that I was not interested in any extended warranties, he added one into my contract anyway. I discovered this the same day when I got home and called him back asking him to remove it from my contract. He promised it was not a problem to cancel the $**** extended warranty and asked me to sign and email back the cancellation form and that I would get a refund in 4-6 weeks. Short story is that is almost 9 weeks later and I still don't have this resolved. I called him back multiple times, no answered, I called Sales Manager and he said he has nothing to do with it but would make finance manager call me back. After 7 weeks, finance manager finally called and said he didn't understand why I hadn't received a refund. Promised he would email warranty company at that moment and that I will be included in the email. Another week past and he did not call me back or send any emails. I ended up calling the warranty company myself and after Morten 1.5 hours waiting the finally said no one from the dealer ever submitted any cancellation paperwork. I then called the dealer to attempt to reach the finance manager again but I was told he wasn't available. Again, almost 9 weeks later and no resolution. The warranty company said most of the times, dealers delay cancelling in order to collect on their commission for selling these warranties. That would make sense now. However, it is dishonest to add an unwanted warranty into a vehicle sales contract, it is dishonest to say it will be canceled, but not doing anything. It is dishonest to tell in on the phone that it was canceled when in reality it was not. I will never buy from this dealer again.

      I been dealing with Casey bmw for two years now and I have had the worst experiences with the service advisor with communication. I just recently took my car there to find for a diagnostic check and service, my advisor held my car for days.. he didn’t contact me and let me know what was going on or anything. I called him myself to see what was taking so long he still didn’t have a solid answer , so I asked for a loaner car since he has to hold my car for so long but he didn’t have any available. The service is bad the communication is terrible and the price of services is the worst, after all this I have a ******* mile warranty through them, drivetrain and powertrain which covers the motor and transmission. I have a problem with my waste gate actuator which is connected to the motor and they tell me it’s not covered by the warranty!! I recommend all who buys from Casey to be aware!!
