The DryerVentWizard team arrived and cleaned the dry vent of our 2 year old ****** dryer. They used their electronic interface plugged into our dryer to access the information. They recommended a new dryer transition vent duct to replace the one that didn't meet THEIR standards which was installed when we replaced our dryer 2 years ago. It was a rip-off of ******** They replaced the pest resistant cover which was needed. The tech, Mr. *********** is apparently related to the owner of the company, and his apprentice were very nice. The next morning, a Saturday, when I went to use the dryer, it would not start even after unplugging the unit to reset it and checking the circuit panel in the garage. The dryer was left in a non-working capacity. I called the office and spoke to a woman who said we would hear back within 24 hours or less. The following Monday I called once again and left a message with the same person who said she would pass on the information to the owner. 3 days later I still had not heard back and called again, spoke to another person who pulled up our record and saw the two post-service calls on our account. Again I left a message and said if we had not heard back in a timely fashion that I would file a report with the BBB. To this day the owner of the company has never returned the call to find out the problem which needed technical assistance from ******* Our next door neighbor considered using this company in the near future and after hearing about our experience, they hired another company to clean out their dryer vent. The price for the service call was ******* which was excessive for what was done. Think twice before calling Dryer Vent Wizard of Hampton Roads.
