On 11-23-24, my wife and I purchased a Barefoot Spas, Model 67NB, serial #******* that cost us $6,495. The *** has a warranty that is active. The spa pump broke down in April 2025. I contacted Barefoot Spas on April 7 and spoke to "Destiny" a **************** worker for ********************. On April 20, a tech for the company arrived and diagnosed the problem as a broken pump. He contacted the company and had them order a new one. Barefoot Spas mailed me a new pump that arrived on April 28. On April 30, the tech came back and attempted to replace the broken pump. He was not able to do it. He said the new pump they sent was defective and not working. I mailed the defective pump back to Barefoot Spas and they received it on May 13. On May 19, Barefoot spas notified me that they had to order the new pump and its arrival would be delayed for 2-3 weeks. On June 10, the replacement pump arrived and I contacted the tech to see when he could come to my house to replace it. He stated he hadn't received payment from Barefoot Spas for his last two visits and he would not be coming out until they paid him. I contacted "April" the Manager of **************** for ******************** to complain. On July 8, the tech came to my house and attempted to change out the pump. He was unsuccessful. He stated the new pump that Barefoot Spas had sent was the wrong size for my hot tub. Since July 8, 2025, my wife and I have attempted several phone calls and emails to Barefoot Spas. The emails have gone unanswered and when we call a recording puts us on hold and we can never talk to anybody. I have left many phone messages, but they have gone unanswered. As of August 1, 2025, we have not received any contact with the company. I have no idea if they went out of business or what is going on. Any assistance you can provide to help us would be greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

I purchased my spa in 7/2023 I was told that I would have a 5 year warranty on parts and labor. My spa is over heating. The screen says water too hot. This has been occurring since 7/21/2025 I have been calling the company leaving messages and emails. I have received no return correspondence. I made a bad review related to poor customer service they responded on the review to contact customer service to rectify. I have been trying to contact customer service from the start. They dont answer or return calls from messages left. I just want the spa fixed. I still 5000$ on it and it doesnt work. This was an expensive product im only asking they stand behind their product and warranty. I see that many others have filed against this company recently. I fear the company does not care any longer about their customers or productInitial Complaint

I paid almost $33,000 on 03/26/2023 for a swim spa from Barefoot Spas. It came with a warranty when I purchased it. The link to the warranty page now shows error 404 if you try to access it. I had one jet repaired after I bought the spa. There is a 3 year warranty for that item. It is less than 3 years and the jet is not working again. I called multiple times and left messages on 4 different departments hoping to get someone to call me back. I sent this email to them but still no response: I have called 3 days now and left a message on 3 different departments hoping someone would call me back. I went to your warranty page from my email, but I get an error code. So I phoned the last person you sent me to fix a problem that was under warranty (Mr. ******* ************). I am having the same problem again. I purchased my swim spa on 3/26/2023 and it was delivered on 5/1/2023 so it is within the 3 year time frame. Jet number 1 that has 2 settings is not working. Sometimes it will turn on for 1 setting but not the 2nd. This was repaired once before by Mr. ******** Mr. ******* will be here tomorrow to look at it and I will have him call you. Maybe someone will answer the phone for the service department. I don't know what else to do since no one will call me ******* order number is ****** My customer ID is ********** My salesman was **** ***** and my phone number is ********** I would like to have my jet repaired an paid by Barefoot Spas since it is still under warranty, but I am unable to get a response from them. I am having the same repairman come out today to look at it. Please help me get a response from Barefoot Spas.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for a ***lacement cover with Bare Foot Spas which was charged to my credit card on May 10, 2025 in the amount of approximately $1,000. After the 5 weeks and not hearing from them, I contacted them and they stated that they did not provide their cover manufacturing the needed information for them to manufacture the cover. I couldn't understand why after 5 weeks they had not done their job. This was mid Jun. Barefoot Spas *** insured me they would provide the needed information to their manufacturer the next day and that my cover would be put on express line and done in 1.5 weeks. Additionally, I was told that the manufacturer would contact me for delivery notification. In mid July, I called back barefoot spas and have not been able to get ahold of anyone on any of their call options and left numerous voicemails without any responses to date - 24 July. Today I called the manufacturer of the covers and they don't have any order against my name - 2.5 months after ordering and paying for a new cover. Other than their website of sold out spas, I'm not sure if Barefoot Spas is still in business. I'm now calling my credit card company to alert them of fraud on this purchase. I don't see how the BBB can still have a A+ rating for this company as I just read another complaint for Jan 2025 of the same issue.Business Response

My wife and I bought a hottub from barefoot spas on Oct 18th 2024. The salesman told us the *** came with a 5 yr warranty against all manufacturer defects. About 2 weeks ago, we openned the cover to get in it and noticed the water level was low. Then I noticed that the breaker had tripped. My wife got the hose and we began to to fill it back up. After the water was filled back up above the jets, I flipped the breaker back to the on position. Water immediately started spewing out of the side so I turned it back off. I removed the side panel so I could see the plumbing and saw that a pvc flex pipe had busted loose from a jet fitting. I called and emailed Barefoot spas numerous times but got no response. ***** will return my call after leaving several messages and ***** will reply to my several emails. Most of my emails get returned saying that the address could not be found. I have no way of contacting them to get a reapir service scheduled under the warranty. I was able to get in touch with someone via ******** messenger thru the Barefoot spas ******** page and that person told me that it wasn't covered under the warranty and that I was on my own. I have never experienced such poor customer service from anyone. Especially for a product that cost over $11k. Im submitting this review/complaint to the BBB pursuant to a lawsuit that I plan to begin. I would recommend that noone buy a Barefoot Spa as they do not stand behind their product and there is no way to get in touch with them thru their website or phone number.Initial Complaint

Ordered 13 items on 5/26/25 $292.55 from Barefoot Spas charged my **** acct 5/29. Called multiple times before 6/24 and was told that 7 items were on backorder from the manufacturer and they didn't know when they would be getting them. None of the items showed sold out when order was placed since sold out items cannot be added to cart. Finally, on 6/24/25 I asked if they could at least send chemicals that they had (6 items). They said they would send them and I did receive the shipment. Problem is I have made 12 calls to Barefoot Spas **************** on 10 different days (including today), left multiple messages (that were never returned) and over the last 2 weeks they don't ever answer the customer service line. On the website the items I ordered as well as all other chemicals and filters and most of the swim spa parts are showing sold out. I don't understand how they are out of everything they sell for pool/spa owners to use for maintenance of their pools and spas that were purchased from ******* seems that Barefoot Spas either is the manufacturer or has all of the items they sell to maintain their pools/spas manufactured specifically for ******* of today, I haven't received any correspondence regarding the status of the 7 items I am still waiting for or about a refund for the amount I paid for those items on 5/26/25.I would love to receive the products I am waiting for (4 bottles of Spa Bright and 3 bottles of Clear Spa). If that is not possible I want Barefoot Spas to provide me with alternative instructions on chemicals that can be used in place of these and where I can purchase those. If they are not shipping me the remainder of my order, then a refund will be due in the amount of $139.93 (4 bottle spa bright $79.96 + 3 bottle clear spa $59.97) plus tax paid at 5.36% on $139.93 total. I also paid $18.74 in advance for the entire order to be shipped. Since I only received half the order I should get $9.37 refunded for shipping. see invoiceInitial Complaint

Good afternoon. I bought a spa from Barefoot Spas. They brought it to my home said they couldn't put it in the spot due to clearance of a few inches due to my gate. Left the spa in my garage. Said reschedule it. It's been weeks, either the # is temporarily out of service or I leave a VM or email they do not get back to me. This spa was $9k and they will not communicate with me and I can't return it or try to move it myself. Can you please assist me with this?Initial Complaint
