  Poor company took them 7 months and 12 days to finish my home that was already built. Owner was hardly on site and his floor plan on the basement caused 3 huge issues. I asked for 4 egress windows for the basement and got 2 bay windows instead so had to dig a sloop, so water and snow doesn't cause any damage to my home. Had to enclose my sunroom because the basement design was 8 feet to long and rainwater was pouring into my basement causing mold damage. Last was the doorway to the basement was in the wrong spot so had to add another 10 feet for stairs. The owner refused to talk to me anymore because I was so upset about my single wide 960 feet home was not done and was promised in 3 months it would be complete. Glad they are out of business now...well deserved.***

  We closed on our Covenant Building and Design home on June 2021. Its been over a year since we submitted our Warranty List of 48 items which many of the problems have not been addressed. We hired our own inspection service that found even additional problems. Some of these issues should never of occurred if the construction was properly supervised. The duct work in the crawl space was never connected to the return in the first floor master.Several windows were discolored.Large cracks on wall and ceilings.Covenant waited 2 years to let me know that the damaged Trex was not there problem.Weve built several homes in the past and have never encountered such lack of craftsmanship. Covenant does not respond to emails which becomes very frustrating.We are working with the warranty manager who is also responsible for at least 45 other homes.We expected to get a custom built home. We understand that all new builds will have some issues. Bottom line Covenant has been slow or unresponsive to our complaints.

  Purchased a custom built home with a floor dedicated to my business from Covenant Building and Design.The subpar construction they provided led to constant repairs,water damage,retrofitting of major systems,newly presenting asthma in one child,toxic black mold, and regular displacement from our home for repairs.Our punch list of 100+ items in 2020 is still unfinished.Upgrades paid for were never completed.There are crooked stairs, unfinished banisters, gaps in doors, broken windows, water leaks,an entire exterior wall left unpainted, missing gutters, a defective front porch,electrical outages, fire hazards, structural deficiencies, etc.We had an inspection to outline and photograph the deficiencies and submitted pictures of standing water and intrusion to Covenant that went ignored.In June of 2022 our second floor ceiling caved in from the weight of the accumulation.Two managers inspected the demolished ceiling but would not give ** their insurance contact for coverage.I contacted the owner directly thinking surely, if he knew he would not leave the situation unabated.I was very wrong. Refusal to remove damage led to mold, a gutting of the crawlspace and full remediation and the loss of tens of thousands of dollars. I was forced to shut down my home based business costing me not only my livelihood for the year,but equipment and production losses. We have a complaint filed with ****. The files and photos will be available for public search and verification of facts after the hearing. We are coming forward now because there is no class action allowed in the state of ******** so individuals bear the cost of any legal battle while already paying for repairs. Most homeowners realize the cost of legal remedy outpaces the cost to repair and choose to take the unjustified loss, but my home is so poorly built we have no other option other than to sell at a loss or trust the overwhelming amount of evidence we have collected to compel the courts to intercede on our behalf.

  This company should not be in business. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and unorganized. Poor communication, poor customer service, so much turnover within the company, *********** and ways of tracking information. Full of false promises, overpromise and under deliver over and over. I cannot stress how strongly I recommend that you do not use this builder.
