We retained Cravens and Noll to help us with the adoption process so I could adopt my two step children. We got them all the information they needed and then just waited for awhile and never heard anything but assumed they were working on it. I only ever get updates when I press for them. Sometimes I have to send two or three emails asking for updates. I’m told an update will come but then silence again for weeks. I have asked several times to speak to a higher up or manager of the branch and was told someone would contact me multiple times but no one ever has. I just recently on November 30th asked for an update and again to speak to a higher up and it is now December 3rd with not even a reply to my email who was sent separately to two different people. This process was supposed to be enjoyable and exciting for adopting my step children finally but this firm has totally ruined this process for us. When they finally sent documents for one of the kids fathers to sign, the child’s name and gender were wrong. Blatant mistakes that a lawyer should not be making. This firm doesn’t take our case seriously and only wanted our money. I’m asking for a full refund from the firm as I have not got what I paid for now almost a year ago.
