My wife went in for the first time customer visit for $29. She only intended to go that one time and was talked into a package she did not intend on buying. When trying to cancel the package before it renewed we were told we are not allowed to do so which was never explained to my wife or she would have never done it. This is a sales scam

I started a monthly membership with The Joint Chiropractic on 9/1/2023, in which i was made aware a minimum of 2 month membership was required. prior to the end of the two months I went into the office per their policy and cancelled my membership. I have been charged $79.00 every month since then and when it came to my attention I reached out on 12/30/2024 via email, I have yet to hear from anyone. I went to the office, they stated the manager will respond in 48 hours, I submitted a corporate complaint and have yet to hear anything. I requested an update on 1/17/2025 and never received a response. I am requesting $1185.00 refunded back to my account as I have not received any services from this organization since I cancelled my membership in October of 2023, yet they are still charging me

Patient **** ****** *** signed an Adult Wellness Plan Agreement on 8/31/2023. In the agreement it states that a monthly recurring payment of $79 would be debited from his account with his permission on the 30th of each month. It also states that to cancel the membership the patient would need to physically come into the clinic and sign a cancellation form or send in a written cancellation request via certified mail. No cancellation has been signed and when contacted to relay this, the patient does not contact clinic back. Signed Agreement information listed below.

We provide Members month-to-month (2 months minimum), automatically renewable Membership Plans. This means that by
signing this membership agreement, you are authorizing us to automatically renew your membership on your behalf each month.
Upon each such automatic renewal We will automatically deduct your monthly membership fee from your credit/debit card
account, unless you notify us in writing that you wish to cancel your membership by submitting our cancellation form
(Cancellation Notice). Member may cancel his/her membership for any reason by submitting a Cancellation Notice after the

have access to your benefits for that final, paid month. All Cancellation Notices must be signed, dated, and submitted on our
Cancellation Notice form and either sent by certified mail, return receipt requested or be hand-delivered to the location at which
the Member maintains his/her membership at least 2 days prior to next billing date to result in no further billing. All cancellation
requests will become effective immediately. After submitting the Cancellation Notice, Member can use remaining visits until next
months would-be billing date, if applicable (e.g., if a member is billed on the 8th each month and he/she cancels their
membership on March 1st, the member will have until March 7th to use remaining visits).

On December 9th 2021 I went into this business with a severe back pain under the impression that for $29 I could get an adjustment and an evaluation. That $29 adjustment and evaluation unfortunately only included two pops of the back and for me to sign up for what I thought was five extra visits for $98 and that was it. So on that day I ended up paying $98 only. Now fast forward a couple months I look at my bank account and see that on the 13th I'm being charged an extra $69. I called up there to cancel and they told me I have to come up in person or mail in a letter. I told them that I'm out of town for work and and couldn't get to them or have the means for mailing at that time. So the lady said that they will put it in for cancellation. that was in March I'm not quite sure of the date but it was closer to the end of ********** fast forward a few more months I notice they're still taking the $69 a month out every 13th of the month since March and so I call up there and ask them why they're still taking it out after they said that they were canceling it and again they told me I have to mail in a letter or come up in person so I mailed in a letter in May and noticed that they didn't take it out on the 13th of June so I thought they finally canceled it. I don't check this account often because I don't use it often but when I checked it again a few months later notice that they were still taking it out and I call up again and the lady got an attitude so much so that I have to hang up on her now today I check my account and notice a pending charge again for $69. And I've only went to this chiropractor one time ever and that was on the 9th of December 2021 for what I thought was going to be a $29 visit. And so far it's costed me $719. That's $69/month every 13th of March April May July August September October November December of this year and the 98 dollars on December 9th of 2021. I would like to be reimbursed $690
