After filing a claim through our home warranty company, we were told that the issue we were having with our plumbing wasnt covered and The Log Doctor picked up the job to do the work for us aside from the coverage provided by the insurance company. After performing the work, our water system in our house still sputtered out water from the faucet. After contacting the company and the plumber that did the work, they stopped answering calls and didnt show up for appointments to remedy the issue. We were finally able to get them to come to look at the work they performed and they said we needed to contact a well company. The well company came out and said the work The Log Doctor performed was incorrect, they installed the wrong water tank and discarded the proper tank we had. The well company also told us that the work shouldve been around $45.00 and The Log Doctor charged us $875.50 to install the wrong tank and do work that was incorrect. The person that handles the business affairs of the company, ****** said shed issue a refund of $875.50; however, she blocked my cell phone number when I called back to inquire about the timeframe of the refund of the $875.50. The Log Doctor appears to be utilizing unlicensed, unqualified individuals that are incorrectly charging clients and fail to remedy the situation and take ownership of their mistakes. Im asking that a case be opened up on The Log Doctor to inquire into their qualifications to perform the work that was done on my plumbing considering they appear to be a company concerning fireplaces, wood, etc.

Please refer to complaint ******** and response from Choice Warranty. The approved contractor continues to cause problems and will not complete claim to install a new hot water heater. I filed claim on 9/9 and still without a HWH which also heats my home.
