This company processed an insurance claim that was fraudulent. The claim was processed as an in office visit instead of tele-health visit and then proceeded to bill for services that were not received. They do not answer their phones and lie to their clients in order to take money from innocent unsuspecting people with children that have special needs that are seeking help for their children. They wrongfully charged me for services not rendered and lied to my insurance company in an attempt to get more money. Beware of this company as they have processed a fraudulent insurance claim with my insurance provider and charged me for services that were not received. Very poor customer service, liars and shady business practices. I would like to warn other parents to steer clear of this place. I believe it is a SCAM.

This parent was advised on three separate occasions of our policies, which they acknowledged and signed off on as agreeing digitally on the intake packet. There were multiple phone conversations where information was provided repeatedly about our intake and hiring processes. The parent was impatient, continuing to call to attempt to intimidate the intake coordinator to start services even though we explained that we have an order that we follow.

Our claims are submitted the same way each time, and are never fraudulent.  We are held to a standard from insurance companies and ethical standards from the ***** which we take very seriously. We pay a BCBA to conduct the initial assessment and we have a treatment plan team that works to complete the plan to submit to the insurance company.  These are not fraudulent claims as we pay employees to complete the work.

We charge for the initial assessment and treatment plan, which was stated on at least five occasions both in writing and verbally, where the parents agreed in writing by digitally signing the acknowledgement.

The parent called in frustration, yelling and stating that she refuses to pay the fees.  When they were sent to collections, the other parent called to ask that we expunge the fees due to his excellent credit rating.  When we did not forgive the fees, they wrote this disparaging review.

    Customer Answer

This company did not explain that they can charge a person even if they do not have a service provider.  They did not have a provider lined up in the state that we live in and therefore were dishonest with us by not disclosing that they do not have any therapists to service our area.  So they took advantage of us.  They lied by omission and the story that they submitted to you is not true as the original complaint was filed with the better business bureau before I ever spoke with them.  They do not answer their phone consistently as they screen their calls to block certain callers.  This company does not thoroughly explain up front and they leave out important details.  I want to warn other parents buyer beware as this company is dishonest and their business practices are predatory.  If they do not have a therapist lined up to take your case then they take your money and offer NOTHING in return.  Buyer BEWARE!
