            Lease Term: 5/1/20 to 4/30/21 During our stay there was a leak from the unit above on 8/12/20. I notified our landlord immediately to help find the source of the leak. It wasn't until 8/28/20 when he finally had someone come out to check the leak and by that point it had progressed to form mold and cover the entire living room as well as one of the bedrooms and the ceiling collapsed next to our new born's crib. On 8/30 through the beginning of September a maintenance crew finally came to replace the ceiling and patch up the walls. No one ever came back to repaint. We had no use of the living room, kitchen, or one bedroom and were confined to one bedroom due to unsafe living conditions. No prorate or reimbursement, nor comparable living situation was provided, but instead dismissed. Rent was $1945/mo and looking to prorate rent. Landlord also deducted from our security deposit damages caused by leak deducting $350 for walls and carpet. There is much more info to provide.
