    I accepted a description with my event calendar under the impression that most of the events would be free since there's a monthly membership charge. That is not the case and there are no free events on the next two published calendars. All of them are far too many miles from where I live and I have sent six messages and made four phone calls to the service and yet no one has been able to get back to **** began the request to cancel this within 24 hours to do so before the subscription takes effect and is billed because my income tax came back and I need a great deal of money for that. I don't utilize any of the services and I've asked professionally and nicely to end the subscription and I've been unable to even receive an email in response. The fact that there was two phone calls for the person selling me the subscription yet there's no phone number or email response for this issue is distressing and unprofessional. I like my subscription canceled (total of $500) and my first membership payment ($75) to be refunded to my card since it's currently still pending.

    Was told I wouldnt be charged unless I accepted terms on the website. Gave them my card information so I can get access to terms and everything on website. I decided this wasnt for me and called back to let them know. I have called them every day since I was charged on 8/9 with no response. Their voicemail says they will call back within 24 hours after leaving a message. I have not received a single call back after I explained my situation. I was charged $75 and they said they will do this for the next 6 months. I had to cancel my card so I wont be charged again. I had to call my bank to try to dispute charge. I have called them many times with not a single reply from them. If I wanted to use their subscription, I couldnt anyways because Im locked out of the website since I never accepted the terms and the password I was given is no longer valid. Password was only good for 2 hours so I can change and accept the terms.

    I cannot afford this service anymore. My grandmother just died this weekend and all of my attention, money, and focus needs to be on my family right now. It is extremely scammy that I have been locked into a club membership I cannot afford after experiencing a death in my family and nobody is answering my calls, texts, emails etc. I NEED TO CANCEL I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS CLUB AND I CANNOT AFFORD THE MEMBERSHIP FEES. EVERY TIME THEY CHARGE MY CARD IT'S GOING TO BOUNCE. PLEASE CANCEL!!!

    I spoke to a woman on 3/4/2024 who sold me a membership to My Social Calendar. I asked her about the variety of events. I was recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and csnnot drink or eat many foods so I told the woman I wasnt interested in bar/restaurant events, she assured me thay they had lots of evrnts that didnt involve food and alcohol. I also told her I was interested in city events. She swore that the events were in ************. I paid the 75 and got access to the calendar. There were very few events and all but 1 were food and alcohol events and none in the city. I wrote asking for a refund, since I was lied to, but I have received no answer. The website has no contact info and is weird. Dont sign up for this service.

    I responded to an ad on ********* intimating that My Social Calendar was a social club with multiple monthly events perfect for connecting to new people as a new person in city. I agreed to a "informational" call from a representative of the company to talk about the club.Instead of an informational call, it was a very forceful sales pitch that demanded my credit card information over the phone. Once I hung up having given it (it was very manipulative pitch), another sales rep immediately called in order to guide me to immediately sign an agreement online in order to be able to even see the calendar of events - I did not realize the term length or that I would not be allowed to at all cancel membership for a period of 6 months. "Your 6-month Membership Agreement Initial Term starts on 12 October 2023 and ends on 12 April 2024."Additionally, we cannot pre-emptively select to not renew the membership before the end of of the membership trial. "You may terminate this Agreement after your Membership Agreement Initial Term, or at any time during your Membership Extended Term upon written notice as provided herein. Termination requests may be submitted by visiting"And yet... "After the initial term, your Member Agreement will automatically renew and continue into the Extended Term on a month-to month basis at the same rate until canceled by you in accordance with the terms of this Agreement."So, if we cannot cancel membership until after the Initial Term is complete and yet membership is automatically renewed after the Initial Term until cancellation is initiated, how are we ever able to cancel membership when there is no window provided to do so?I believe this company is willyfully misrepresenting themselves and trapping people in extremely hostile manipulative contracts through forceful sales pitches. Consumer Affairs has an incredibly large amount of reviews of the same accounts as myself

    I was a member of My Social Calendar years ago, maybe 2017-ish, and was randomly charged $69 on 9/4/2023. I tried calling the number listed on the charge *************) but the voicemail sounded like a private line. I left a message but have not heard back.

    I have asked to terminate my subcription and I am trying to go to the link provided to do so and it is not available. I have asked customer service to please cancel my subscripion. I waited until the aloted time I was told and that I could now cancel but no one is helping me.

    I joined MSC in April earlier this year, hoping to meet some new friends after a divorce. I was "sold" the subscription of $75 per month by a woman named ******, after setting up an appointment/interview, as directed by the website. Starting 4/20/22 and continuing monthly since then, I was charged $75. However, I never saw any events that were near enough to me to attend and after a few months, decided to cancel. Since then, I have tried to log back in to cancel, but was unable to find any way through the website to do so. I let it go for another few months, but then tried again. I then tried to log in with same login/pswd and could *not*. I requested "reset pswd" and website said reset link was sent to my email.... but it was NOT. I checked all folders-- spam, trash, etc.-- and there was no email or link from them. I continue to be charged $75/ month. I have tried this several times, to no avail, NEVER receiving an email from them to reset my pswd and now having NO online access to either my profile or the so-called service that I am being charged for.There is truly NO customer service. The last time I was able to access the website, I could not find any number or email contact to try and reach them. When I tried to call the phone number attached to the credit card charge (listed as "MSC*SUBSCRIPTION ************ VA"), I was shuttled from one phone number to another of recorded sales pitches for other products, without ever being connected to a live person or even a recording that mentions My Social Calendar.This company gained access to my credit card and is just TAKING MY MONEY for a service I have never used, and has made it impossible for me to cancel the subscription.
