    In my recent experience, I contacted ******************* at Standard Paving to question some minor damage we saw after having our driveway paved a week ago. I was explaining the situation and felt that he was interpreting me while I was describing my concerns. I asked him (perhaps more harshly than intended) to not cut me off when I was explaining and I think that set him off. He was extremely rude from that point forward and told me I was the one being rude. He told me essentially that I was a no one and that he has done projects for very rich people and Senators. I asked to speak with his manager and he informed me he was the owner, much to my surprise based on his behavior and professionalism. Recognizing that he was my only option for a solution or some type of path forward, I attempted to take the higher road while he told me why I was wrong. I am not contesting his explanation, what he said makes sense. *** explained that it can take a year to set and given the hot temperatures may be softer than normal. He also explained that this information was in a brochure we were given at some point. While work was being performed at our home, I spoke to two people from his team and specifically asked one person, how long until it was safe to drive on? I was told was 24 hours. We waited 48 hours and now have damage from delivery trucks. If we would have been told what *** shared on the phone ahead of time we could have made adjustments on our side to have deliveries left at the bottom of the driveway. I suggested that it might be an opportunity for him to provide feedback to his team so this doesnt happen in the future and he told me he didnt need my advice. Overall just extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and will advise people if asked to not use this company due to its owner. We spent a significant amount of money and are very disappointed that in less than a week it is damaged. I am sharing this so other people are aware and do not run into the same pitfalls.
