On July 27, 2022, I had the automatic transmission on my ***** ******** replaced by Gateway Auto Repair, and included in the transmission service was a warranty that covered 3 years and 3 years and 1000,000 miles. Less than a month after receiving the vehicle, I was having issues with the new transmission, as the vehicle was jerking in first and second gear; and informed the repair shop of this. The vehicle was taken back to them to correct the issue, however it was not corrected. I was told by the owner of the shop, *****, that a new replacement transmission would be ordered to replace the one I currently, however to this date (May 19, 2023) I have been given run-around after run-around, with the latest voice mail I received stating (from *****) that the people that provide the transmission sent the wrong type.. Within the last 2 months I have been to four different service repairs places to get their findings on what the problem is with the transmission. I paid for two of those findings, with ALL OF THEM stating that the transmission needs to be worked on. I have sent a certified mail to ***** informing him of the findings, and I am still getting the run-around. Here is information regarding the original service to be performed: Invoice: 63930 Date of Invoice: 07/27/2022 Invoice Total: $4,845.63 This total included the replacement transmission, 3 year warranty, parts, labor, and fluids. I am now also seeing that I was charged $160.00 for towing, which is bogus, because I drove the vehicle to the shop myself. On 11/11/2022, I took the vehicle back to the shop for follow up repair, and was charged an additional $195.00, for a reprogramming fee, and the vehicle still is not running properly. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
