  We asked Never Dark to install a new home whole house generator to replace our old, failing model. The entire experience was superb from start to finish. This is a very professional outfit with procedures and people that are amazingly great. The crew that came out were first rate with the technical knowledge and experience to do this right, the first time, without delays or drama. They showed up, walked us through the plan, offered make-sense modifications and got down to work. We now have a 26 kw capability (largest air-cooled home unit) from ***************** with a phenomenal guarantee and the dedicated support of our friends at Never Dark ***************. And those considering any vendors should understand an important point--Never Dark does generators exclusively. They don't try to be all things to all people, they do generators and they do it right! Highly recommended!

  First, excellent customer service. Service was timely and technicians cleaned up everything after installation. Second, Never Dark explained the use of our new whole house in detail and answered all questions throughly. I was especially drawn to using Never Dark by the fact that they only install and work on generators. I would highly recommend Never Dark for all generator needs.

  This is more of a warning. I have no problem with the guys who have come to service my generator. I'd give them 5 stars. They've all been really nice, efficient and competent. My warning is because I had called in a problem w/my generator. It was trying to start, battery was good (turning over) but just wouldn't catch. I called in a service request. I was given an appt 3 wks out (no big deal) but they didn't show (family emer) - they rescheduled me for 2-3 wks out again. Still not a problem. Turns out it was the starter. They replaced starter ($180.00) and charged $50.00 for labor (30 min job). Well okay, Warning to people they service, if you call for a repair, they charge $250 to come to your house, Really! Really? Plumbers usually charge $100 to come to your house, electricians, $100. I would have done much better to just call one of my friends who works on their own generators or vehicles. Never Dark tried to make out like "well, we are in ************** (and it's a long way.)" You may be in *************** but the guy who used to service my generator lives in N Chesterfield (I live in S Chesterfield). At least the one I asked told me he lived off *******. My problem is I was not told during the call-for-help that they charge $250 to come do repair. I would have absolutely said "absolutely not! never mind." At least the electricians/plumber offices tell you the charge beforehand. Just beware.

  Our experience with Never Dark Whole House Generators from start to finish was remarkable!It started with the salesman clearly explaining all of our options including the "six month" wait for install. The prices were clear as was the timeframes. The install crew was quick and professional and completed the install within one day and was coordinated the county inspection.Overall, this process was enjoyable. I would highly recommend Never Dark Whole House Generators to anyone seeking this service.
