    On Sat., May 11, the moving company moved my residence (1 bed apt) about 30 mins away to my new apt. Prior to the move, they charged me a $300 deposit, which was to be applied to final balance at the end. When the movers finished, they handed me a cell phone and made me read my credit card info in front of several people which was not secure but on top of that, they didn't verify the amount they were charging and charged my credit card $1,075 more, which did NOT have the deposit applied. I questioned him and he apologized and said they would refund $300 of the $1075 they had just charged immediately--this did not happen. After nearly daily phone calls with them and them assuring me the refund would be processed last Friday, it STILL hasn't been refunded. I am highly upset (living in NoVA on a single income) that they would be so careless about the mistake and then, 9 days after realizing their mistake, still not refunding the money they owe me. I called again today and was assured they would send an emergency message for someone to get back to me (same story as last week) ***** is very nice when answering the phone but is unable to help and ******************* every day just says 'the office has to process, I'm very sorry....'. This is absurd, I would like an immediate refund of the extra money they charged my card IMMEDIATELY! This shouldn't even be an issue and I don't understand why, after acknowledging the mistake repeatedly and constantly making assurances they will refund it, why they have still not done so! I do NOT trust these folks.... especially *******************. On top of the overcharging of my card, his estimate was completely erroneous and not even close to the total. Nevertheless, at this point, I just want my $300 overpaid refunded and to never deal with these folks again!!
