    On or about June 26, 2024 we took our **** to Reed Creek **** Care in Hurt, VA. We had a misfire and computer issue in the auto. Upon speaking to the person at the counter, he told us we needed a new computer. And, that it would take 8 to 10 business days to get it and install it. We called them after three weeks (15 business days) without a call from them. We were told that they weren't able to get a new computer and that they were sending the old computer to be repaired. We called again in several days to check on the status and were told it went to ********, in ******* or **********. We waited several more weeks and called to be told it was "lost". About a week later, they "found" it and said it wasn't the right computer. And, they had to look for another one. Since August 28th we've called numerous times to inquire the status of the repair. Now, on Sept. 9 we called several times and told them if they didnt have the computer to put the old one back in our auto.
    We were told they had the new computer and were programming it. On Sept 10 we called and we were told they needed another key in order to complete re-programming the computer. On Sept. 13, we called several times (once was a hang up), and he said they had another guy there programming it as their equipment broke down. And, they said it should be done maybe today. in total we've called Reed Creek 24 times. We feel like we are being "dodged" by them. We are still waiting and it seems like excuses are being told to us.

    This is in
    response to the complaint made by **** and ****** **********.The vehicle was
    a 2008 Ford Taurus that was brought in due to a misfire.  After a diagnostic was done the owner was
    informed the vehicle need a new computer. 
    Since we were unable to find a computer, we took theirs to **** ****,
    for them to ship out for reprogramming. 
    It was lost for awhile which was out our hands since **** **** took care
    of the shipping. When it was located, they could not get it to reprogram.  At that time the search was back on for a
    computer.  Once one was found the
    programming would not work the programmer found an after-market security system
    and had to remove it from the vehicle.  The vehicle
    was picked up by the **********’s on 9/20/2024.At no time
    did we make excuses or dodging him.  With
    older vehicles it is getting harder to find the parts.  Vehicles change and they stop making parts
    for older ones.  A lot has changed in 16
    years.
