My car was parked correctly on the street and as normal a movable permit parking sticker was on the dashboard. The car was Towed on 05/18/2025 3:40 AM and when I asked about the reason I come to know that sticker was not displayed on dashboard as it was fell down to the seat. I tried to convince to at lest take a look as sticker was visible and grounded and could be various reason. After my multiple request and denial I was agreed to pay for the towing ticket and I was slapped with a $230 charges without any explanation of the bill. For further checking I determined that they overcharged me and with out giving a reason. My complaint to this busienss is the permit sticker was there and it not no warning as they say on their website was given as well as they are overcharging without giving the itemized distribution my charges. I am looking for a refund or charges against this towning company.

JDR Towing has a tow agreement where this vehicle was towed from to tow vehicles that not have permits. All permits must be visible at all times. A warning was not placed on the vehicle as warnings are not required at this property. All vehicles parked on the property are required to have a permit per the rules regulated through the property management/ HOA. The prices are regulated through the county and prices are displayed at the tow lot which can be seen when picking up vehicles. The price was $230 as it was towed on the weekend. No refund will be issued as this vehicle was in violation of the parking rules.

Two days ago my daughter parked at our apartment community ******* in ****************. She arrived home late from soccer that night, and there was no parking spots available. She was forced to park in a visitor parking spot at the community she possessed and was displaying a valid parking sticker to show she was a resident. She woke up the next morning, and her car had been towed. A resident informed her that around 6:30 in the morning the towing company came in and took her vehicle.Upon reviewing the parking addendum for the property and communication sent out by the property management. A parking sticker was valid for any parking spot it was a reserved spot for a disabled or Pay to park parking spot.Upon initial contact with the towing company, they said it was a valid tow and thatthey would not release the vehicle without payment.Having spoken with the property management, they agreed that it was wrong to tow and violated the of the agreement that shouldve resulted in a warning being given. No such warning was provided via sticker. The policy for parking as an addendum to the lease and recent communication says nothing to the effect that a resident cannot park in a visitor parking spot. . Especially considering that my daughter who was driving the car, returned late at night after soccer practice. She is 16-year-old female. The property management from ****** said that they should not have told it and agreed. They said that they had called and left messages and . When my wife took my daughter to collect the vehicle, they were told that no such email or phone calls had been received and they not release the car without payment. My wife decided to make payment so I was not to disrupt her or my daughters day anymore. This is predatory, towing practices, violating the agreement between the apartment complex and the towing company. They are taking liberties and seriously disrupting people in the community.

JDR TOWING has a tow agreement with Acadia apartments. All residents are to park in open spaces, and "VISITOR" spaces are only for visitors. This vehicle displayed a "RESIDENT" permit; therefore, the vehicle is not a visitor and is not permitted to park in the visitor spaces. If any resident is parked in a visitor space, it will be towed and no exceptions are made. JDR Towing will not be issuing a refund as the vehicle was not improperly towed.

May 9th, 2023 JDR towing has towed my car for unauthorized parking. I pay the fee and get my car. My car is scrapping loud! The cover is broken underneath my car. My brother has fixed it for me and I had no issue until they towed my car, and now its so loud even the music wont cover it. I call them to tell them, the front desk lady wont give me the number of her manager. She tells me to go back I tell her I will not as I live 30 minutes away. Finally she gives me the number. I call a man I think his name is *******. He says he will come look at it at 9:30. Its 10:30 and nothing. He called me at 10:50 and asks where I am, I tell him at the from and he refuses to come see me. He tells me to go where he is and when I tell him its ridiculous he hangs up. I call him back and he tells me he already left and I need to drive to the office. No one has given me a number of someone who can actually help. I'm just frustrated as to how they return to me my car. This is negligence. I come home and go over the speed bump and my cover breaks now. I have a brand new 2020 ****** ******* that they now broke and won't even give me 15 minutes over the phone to explain. They seriously lack in costumer service. They probably cost me 400+ in damages
