      DONT USE ALLIANZ!!!! This is the most worthless company to work with. Its been nothing but frustration. I got travel insurance last year for a 3 month stay in *******, during my stay I ended up in the hospital and needed them to uphold their end of the arrangement. It took months of calls and being told it would be paid on this day and never paid then on this day and never paid this just kept going on for weeks that turned into months till finally after several call backs and months later was told it was paid. Fast forward to this year im going back to ******* for another 3 months but was informed that finland has a repo bill out on me from that hospital stay so I called to confirm that it had infact been paid. I asked for confirmation to be able to take back with me and I was promised to be emailed a receipt. Days go by and nothing I call back they put out another request saying it'll be 24 to 48 hrs for a call back to tell me another 24 to 48 hrs ill get the email more than a week goes by and still nothing. They are completely incompetent and cant do their job. They don't email, call, or pay anything when they say they will. They will gladly take your money but dont expect them to hold up their end of the agreement if you actually need to use it.

      How can purchase insurance for airline ticket and due the Hertz car rental not having any cars available for a reservation that was made 20 days priorfor the first part of your trip. You cant make it to destination . You cant be refunded for your ticket. Make it make since. Do not purchase this this insurance. Not worth your time

      Our entire trip was canceled due to flights being canceled the day before our trip. But there was absolutely nothing from Allianz and we submitted all forms. Never use them again. Will not recommend them either.I received a fabricated, prepared response from Allianz from my statement above. NEVER USE THEM.

      Too many unclear exclusions , very difficult to understand the policy document. Not clear whether trip cancellation claim max is per person or for the entire party. Vague explanations for denial reasons. I recommend shopping around for insurance providers for trip cancellation part of the travel.

      I usually contact the BBB to make a complaint about a business, not endorse it, but I am making an exception for Allianz. When I have had to file a claim, the process was very straightforward. Everything that was expected of me was laid out i. the claim and if there were any items that could delay the claim they contacted me to make sure I was aware of what was needed and told me how I could get or find what is needed to process the claim.Allianz did not give me any hassle when I filed a claim, worked quickly in the past cases when making a claim and had paid my claim quickly. This really is a must for any travel because things will go wrong and situations will not be covered by the provider and a travel insurance policy will cover tour loses exactly as specified. Please get a travel insurance policy if you travel and get it with Allianz.

      The claims process was easy because I had all the necessary documentation. I had already filed with my health insurance, which was not easy, but this filing went smoothly. I'm grateful for the coverage of the remaining ambulance bill.The reimbursement was quick and I would recommend this insurance for out of country travel. *****

      So glad that we had the Allianz insurance. Our flight got cancelled and American Airlines was of no help to us. We had to just figure it out on our own. We had 2 rooms for an extra night and food. Allianz checked into our claim immediately and we were reimbursed quickly. Definitely a good experience with your company. Definitely use you again. Thank you so much!
