RGS Pros was hired to rebuild the sidelights to the front door of our A-frame located at *** ****** Drive in Kill ****** Hills, ** in January 2022. The door itself was functioning properly at the time and the only issue was some moisture damage on the sidelights. However due to the lack of skills from the contractor and damage he caused our entire front door had to ultimately be replaced costing us thousands of dollars. An initial deposit of ***** was paid for labor services to RGS Pros. ***** ***** initially refunded us this entire amount after we received no response from contacting your company on multiple occasions. The bank recently repulled the money from our account again without our knowledge, and is advising us to resolve this issue with your company. We have made several attempts to contact the company again including certified letter. The contractor **** accidentally broke one of the sidelights. Two attempts were made to reinstall the door frame however the door jamb was loose and moved whenever the door opened or closed. Improper tools were used like a chisel in lieu of a router and you could see daylight outside. Due to the damage of the frame and poor workmanship the entire door needed to be replaced and we hired a more professional contractor. The photos will show the workmanship and damage caused by the contractor. The door was not weather tight and we had to place a tarp over it for several weeks while we are waiting for a new company to professionally install a new door. We paid your company ******** for labor services only as per ****'s request we paid ***** directly for the initial supplies. We have have made multiple attempts to contact the company including email, phone and certified mail. It is unethical for your company to have us to pay for your labor when ultimately your company cost us thousands by having to completely replace our door.
