I placed an order for a riflescope that was listed as in stock. I was charged but then informed I needed to provide proof of my identity because of the scope being restricted from export. I provided the information. The status on their website never changed and kept listing my order as verification needed. I contacted them to ask if everything was ok with the order but received no response. I continued contacting via chatbot, emails and attempted phone calls but never actually spoke with anyone nor received updated information.Initial Complaint

I am writing to formally request a refund for my order placed on April 16. The item was listed as in stock at the time of purchase, which was the primary reason for my order.After a week, I checked my online account and noticed that the order status remained "pending." To clarify what this meant, I contacted customer service and was informed that "pending" actually indicated that the item was out of stock but expected to be restocked soon.Another week passed with no updates, so I reached out again and requested that my order be canceled and my payment refunded. However, I was offered in-store credit instead. I declined this option and reiterated my request for a full ************ is May 9, and despite my repeated efforts, I have yet to receive the refund. Given the delay and the misleading inventory status at the time of my purchase, I urge you to process my refund immediately. On November 7, I ordered a shotgun through Charlies custom clones. I then found out they did not have the item in stock that was listed on their website so according to their refund policy, I would be able to get a refund. They canceled my order on January 19, 2025 I have emails back-and-forth Asking them about my refund. They say it takes a while to process, most businesses can process a refund within 8 to 10 days Im still for my refund and according to them they do not update the status of your refund. I send an email out once a week asking for my status. I get no replies back.. I find it hard to believe that a state would allow somebody to operate their business like this and hold that amount of money from consumer.Initial Complaint

On January 27, 2025, I went onto Charlies Custom Clones website and found a firearm part I have been looking for. The site listed 11 items in stock. I purchased the item, paid a few dollars for shipping protection, and was given an order number. A few days later I received an email stating the shipping protection was no longer valid, but no information about the item I ordered. I looked on their website the item I ordered was no longer listed. I emailed the business and was informed by *** that the item I purchased was no longer in stock. On February 5, 2025, I cancelled my order and I received confirmation of this same day. I was told my money would be refunded when the manager can catch his breath. It is now a month later and I still have not received my refund.Initial Complaint

On December 29th I placed an order for a product that was identified as in-stock on the vendors website. They immediately charged my credit card, but changed the order status to, "on hold pending manual review". I contacted the company multiple times by email asking why it was in this status only to receive AI generated responses. Their phone number goes direct to voicemail. I waited several weeks without update and requested that my order be cancelled. I received more AI responses, some telling me that I can't cancel my order because it's difficult, and then later threatening a large restocking fee. I responded that I would report the company if not refunded, and then received a message saying that they did not ship the product I paid for because they prioritized using it for other orders over mine. I asked for a refund again and have received no further responses from the company. They have effectively stole my money, which is not a huge sum, but it is $270.10.Initial Complaint

I purchased a couple products online. The following day the status of my order changed to requires manual verification. After a week or so there was no change and the items were not shipped so I contacted customer service. They would not answer my questions unless it was the email associated with the order and when i finally got a response about my order they told me they were cancelling it because my products were not in stock. That was on December 11th that they cancelled the order. I have since not received a refund and now they are no longer responding to my inquiries about where my money is. I placed an order in June 2024 for a rifle to be sent to a gun shop in my area. The amount of the order was $1294.97. It was from Charlies custom clones. I realized I had given them the wrong address and decided to change my mind on placing my order, contacted them and asked them to cancel my order which they replied they would and I would get a full refund. I have tried contacting them many times by email and calling them. Ive only gotten a couple of responses stating that they would refund my money in full, but I have never received a refund.Initial Complaint

I made a purchase from the Charlies Custom Clones website, which advertised a product other than the one that was actually for sale. When the sales team informed me of this misleading advertising, I cancelled my order and emailed the sales team at ******* Custom Clones. Despite cancelling my order, my credit card was charged and the charges have not been reversed. I've tried reaching out to the customer service team at Charlies Custom Clones; however, no one responds. The charges to my card have not been reversed. No products were ever received. I want a full reimbursement of the charges that were applied to my credit card.
