Early 2022, Phil ****************** of Silva Performance, had my ******************************************************************** the *****************. He agreed to make repairs to the car to make it road worthy and I gave him a down payment of $2222.81. He made the repairs and I was to test drive the car in September 2022. While moving his business operation to his current location near ************, ****************** locked my car and left it in an unprotected lot behind the Advance Auto Parts store on ******** St in *********. ****************** was unable to open the door locks for the test drive. ****************** hired a locksmith to get into the car. The locksmith broke the passenger side window and damaged the door paint on September 13, 2022. ****************** claimed he had already ordered the glass and that he wanted to make the window replacement. I paid ****************** for the balance owed for the steering and suspension work and he promised he would make the window replacement and have his auto paint shop touch up the passenger side door. I had the car towed to my residence.****************** kept putting me off with excuses until he showed up in January 2023 to retrieve the broken window and window channel from the passenger side door. He said he gave the channel to the glass shop to attach the new glass. Many excuses later, ****************** told me the new glass was broken accidentally. I got the broken window and channel from him surprisingly, it looked the same as the original broken window. I told him I was taking the car to ****** Auto Shop in Fredericksburg to make other repairs including the window replacement and I would give him the bill for the window work. He agreed and said he would provide me the name of his preferred auto paint shop.****** Auto Shop replaced the window in November 2023 and charged $185. I presented the bill to ****************** on November 24th and asked for the contact information for the paint shop. Though he keeps saying he will pay, to date I have received neither the money nor the information.
