Car was towed Saturday April 23rd 2022 around approximately 9 pm He says the cost and fees as of today April 27th 2022 is $585.00 I do not understand what fees are being added on And what the fee amount should correctly be? I called about the vehicle and told him I wanted him to print out the fees for documentation so I could do the math myself and he said “ are you trying to play some kind of game?“ very rude for a man of business And I tried to get him to tow it to my residence the night of the incident and he refused I came to pay the bill 2 days before and he refused to release the vehicle that I was going to have it towed by another tow buisness to my residence and wouldn’t discuss the matter and sent me on my way adding more storage fees I have the title to the vehicle And he says I needed insurance and tags I did not plan on driving the car off the property But he refused to discuss the matter and is now charging me way past the legal limit and hopes of keeping my 2003 BMW 530i in a manner of out waging me with fees I cannot pay due to unexplained fees and waves § 46.2-1233, as to vehicles towed or removed from private property, no charges imposed for the towing, storage, and safekeeping of any passenger car removed, towed, or stored without the consent of its owner shall be in excess of the maximum charges provided for in this section.
