    I purchased a car on August 7, 2022 exactly 5 months ago from Smoots Auto Center. I’ve had it in and out of the shop ever since I got it. The second day I had it I called smoots about a sputtering and black smoke coming out of the car and they had me take it to their car mechanic and they claimed to have fixed a hose that causes that. Picked it up from the car mechanic and it was continuing to do the same thing. I called and made another appointment with the mechanic but the car lot said the mechanic will have to charge me for any work done because my warranty was done so I cancelled the appointment because why should I have to pay for the car when I didn’t have it more than 2 weeks. I then proceeded to have the engine light come on and it said I needed new spark plugs so my husband and I got all 4 brand new spark plugs. Car continued to have things breaking on it. Took it to a new car mechanic two different times and this last time I took it which was on Wednesday January 11, 2023 my car was still doing the sputtering and blowing out black smoke and my car no longer has heat. They said everything was breaking due to there being an oil valve leak which caused the engine to not get oil into which made the cylinder 3 go out. Which means we need a whole entire new engine. The mechanic said the damage to the engine had been there before we got the car and that the lot sold us the car knowing what was wrong with it and was just trying to cover it up for a quick sale. We called the car lot yesterday and respectfully asked if there was a way they could help us out with a new engine considering we’ve only had the vehicle 5 months they transferred us to their car mechanic shop and they quotes us a $2,600. How is that helping us out? We should not have to be putting in a brand new engine that was messed up when we bought it. I’m extremely disappointed and had no idea I bought a car from a bunch of crooks and I’m still making payments on it. Looking into the lemon law as well.

    Absolute 0! Told meI had to have proof of insurance, car was ready that all I had to do was come test drive it.. Got there and stood there while the ladies played with their phones showing pictures and laughing, no customer services skills what so ever... Proceeded outside because the sales lil man wasn't present but I asked about their cars being serviced and the gal I went outside with said " cars are serviced before put on the lot" I said "awesome"! I proceeded to the 2015 Nissan Altima looked at front end first and noticed a popped piece of bumper, just a lil lip showing, but still.. felt the tires and drivers side was wore off pretty good on outside of tire, but the passenger side was bald and very unevenly wore.. back tires were pristine.. so red flags.. proceeded to take it for a test drive, motor ran well, shifted properly, but when I hit them brakes it was as horrible, wap wap wap wap,duda duda duda shizzzzzzzzz, that to me feels like tie rods, then proceeded to use the electric mirrors and they didn't work... I pulled over to look under Hood as well for leaks as I was smelling oil, didn't see any so I figured it was from an oil change.. Got back to the shop and the ladies asked me how I liked it and I said I do... The car has great potential but it has a things that need to be worked on and started to tell them bout the front end and the lil salesman(Billy B**) immediately said "well don't buy it then" I said I need this car because I don't have one can you guys fix it and sell it to me, he said"absolutely not because I made a complaint about it" He says we ain't gonna fix it sell it to you" Then I said I'll take it anyway"He said to leave that i cannot purchase this car" because it's unsafe" I said" You didn't think about that when you sent me on a test drive" This company prays on the less fortunate, sells you a broke *** car , waits for something to happen just so they can repo and sell again.. After further research on this company, class action!
