I met with **************************** and got a written estimate from him for the replacement of my roof on my home and my shed along with the siding on the side of my house and replacement of gutters and including gutter guards. At that time I was told that it wouldnt take any more than 30 days to complete the entire job. I was pleased with the estimate and gave him an initial deposit of $5,000 in the form of a check drawn on my bank at Navy ******************** and the check was cashed on 8 January ****. ******************* started the work with two young men who were not actual roofers ************ him out in his words. The next check in the amount of $5,000 also drawn on Navy ******************** was given and cashed on 12 January ****. Since then no additional work has been completed nor have any materials been delivered. I have been given excuses by ******************** about his truck being broken down, his roof crew being busy, him doing other jobs, applying to another vender to get additional supplies, and even asking me to pay my balance in order to pay the supplier to get my supplies delivered. As of today 3 February **** I havent heard a word from ********************. My next step is to also file a civil complaint with my county courthouse for damages because my house has been damaged due to rain and ******************** not fixing the roof completely. I sent him pictures and he agreed it was indeed his fault for the inside damages. This business is still giving out business cards stating that he is in fact on the BBB and upon checking is no longer rated with you.
