      On June 6, 2025, at 6:30 AM. I went to the Floyd Laundromat because my washing machine at home was not working. I put a total of $6 into one of the large Capacity washers and it would not work.
      I immediately tried calling the phone number that was listed there for Assistance. The number is listed on the sign in front of the building and also in two places inside the laundromat. I also sent text messages and pictures of the machine that was not working and I hung an out of order sign on it.
      I have made multiple calls and to date no one has had the courtesy of returning a call.
      Jay Griffith is the newest owner of the laundromat. He also has another business as the ********* *****, And has been equally unresponsive for warranty claims on my home dryer. That is a separate issue and I’ll be filing a separate complaint.
      I would like to have my $6.25 refunded. I lost a quarter in one of the dryers that would not work.
      I also would like to see a lower BBB rating posted for this business because on ****** they have multiple negative reviews. I would suggest that is reviewed for additional history on this business.

      I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      I received an email from you regarding my complaint with Floyd Laundromat. It states the owner mailed a check to me on 7/25/25. I have not received this from him and do not think the complaint should be closed until I do. Sent from **** ****** **** ******
