I was strongly encouraged and coaxed to purchase a pair of shoes from this store. The associate kept dropping the price to get me to purchase the shoes. This transaction occurred on June 29, 2023. I started to work on August 7th when soles fell apart. The transaction was for $104.75. I returned the shoes to the store on August 7,2023. The associate act as if she didnt remember me. The owner soon came into the store. They told me it had been over two weeks since the shoes were purchased and therefore I couldnt receive a refund. They claimed signs are up in the store stating that. They offered me another pair of shoes. I refused to take another pair. Im afraid to purchase anything else from the store. If I had seen the signs I would not have made the purchase. The shoes were $109.00 at a 15% discount. I want my money refunded. I dont want anything else out the store. The associate pushed me to buy the shoes. She did not tell me I couldnt get my money back. I am a 70 yr old senior citizen please help me. I expect $92.00 refund. I left the shoes in the store.
