Move from *********, ** to *************, ** - ***************** in early March to perform cross country move in mid June - *** of my requirements for a cross country mover was that I did not want to work with a broker and wanted a single company to move my items from start to finish. The salesperson ******************************* repeatedly assured me that the move would not be brokered out and when asked if trucks and vans would be labeled with company logo he said they would be. - Movers arrived on Jun 11th and they were from a different moving company "The Art of Moving" Peabody, MA.- AirTag left in one of moving boxes showed my possessions moving around to different moving locations over the course of 4-5 days across the state of MA. They were never removed from the moving truck and put in storage as I was advised.- Movers packed items and when they arrived at destination. New delivery company, "U Move", was contracted. They even brought a larger truck than expected - Several expensive pieces of furniture were damaged . -I was lied to by the salesperson several times, items were left in moving truck and not cared for resulting in their damage. This was pure negligence by the moving company. They brokered out the moving to several different companies. They are misleading customers from the start to win their business.- I am asking for compensation back for being lied to and the negligence and poor care of my possessions.

      BBB Complaint #********

The consumer booked and signed an agreement to move household goods from ** to **. As per the signed agreement and Bill of Lading all items were delivered per our terms and conditions. However, some items were damaged during the move. We opened a claim for the consumer and processed his claim per the terms and conditions of the signed agreement and Bill of Lading. We sent the consumer a claim settlement agreement via email for the damaged items and additional compensation for customer care. We are waiting for the consumer to sign the claim settlement agreement and once we receive it we will refund the consumer the amount of the claim settlement. We performed the job according to the terms and conditions of the signed agreement and **** of Lading.
