My government has sponsored me for pediatric residency in North America. I have interviews in the USA and Canada. I had taken exams for both pathways and needed to be prepared. I was referred to prepare for my interviews by my government sponsor SACM. The training was very comprehensive. I want to state it was not simple. There was an extensive review of my resume and how it applied to my application and asked to prepare for different situations, Questions were asked in multiple scenarios repetitively, and the preparation was extensive. Still, with each hour, it became easier for me to understand the purpose of the questions, resulting in my being well-prepared. However, I did feel the interview course was initially overwhelming. The Pros were that I was very well prepared the Cons were that while the class was four hours be prepared to study for more than four hours. Also, I asked for answers to be written for me, and the response was to learn the material, not memorize it. In conclusion, I learned a lot, and I felt alert and prepared to perform well in my interviews
