I took my car to be painted and replace drivers side door in March, I stopped by the next week to find my car sitting under a tree with the windows down and water was standing in the drivers side floorboard and door handle. I confronted him why he would just leave the car outside with the windows down and realized he was intoxicated and smoking marijuana. This is when I realized I was at the wrong body shop. I came back that Monday to get my car and get someone else to paint and he had taken the door off and said he had already spent the money on parts and paint. I would check on Fridays as too when it would be ready. After several weeks of me checking every Friday and him telling me it will be ready next week. I got it back but the door locks didn't work so he said he would fix it and it would be ready next week. the next the locks worked but the windows didn't then the next time he had broke the interior panel. He offered to replace but it doesn't match the other door. Finally after three months of this I just picked up my car and had a professional fix it. The other body shop was to fix all the previous guys mistakes and calls me the next day and told me that the wiring was all jacked up and that I would have problems out of that door for rest of the time I have it because of splicing the harness rather than changing out door switches, etc. I have had this car for over twenty years and invested in a lot of premium parts over the years,. Now I have mold growing and would have to redo the entire interior.
