In one case, a consumer states the business reached out to them claiming they have a buyer for the consumer’s timeshare and attached a signed contract. BBB received returned mail on 4/10/15 stating "Attempted- Not Known"; therefore, BBB is unable to verify the business's physical address.
On April 14, 2015, BBB drove by the location of 1117 Emmet St N Charlottesville, Virginia 22903 and discovered the address is the office for the management of the property. BBB reached out to the property manager and they confirmed that space has never been leased to Barracks Resort Sales ?in their shopping center.
It is BBBs understanding that timeshare companies need to be registered with DPOR’s Common Interest Community Board. BBB has been unable to verify the license of Barracks Resort Sales.
