I bought the used 2013 ****** Sentra on 2-24-24 from Safe Auto Trader sale price $4,900 and a total price of $5,510 with fees. The dealer was ****** ** Prada. He stated nothing was wrong with the car and it passed the recent inspections in the Carfax report. I test drove the car with no issue. On my way back to my residence in the ***************** the car slowed down on i95 and would no longer accelerate halfway through the journey. I notified the dealership of the issue, and I was told to take it to Auto Zone so they could check out the code and again that nothing was wrong with the car it passed all inspections. The code from auto zone was a transmission problem which I again notified the dealer **. I was then given an extended warranty and told they should fix the issue call in seven days to get it fixed. I took the car to be diagnosed at the ****** dealership closest to me on 3/4/24 so they could fix the issue. The extended warranty denied the claim for at the time I thought the price. I spoke to **, and someone from the extended warranty and found out the claim was denied because the issue was clearly an issue since I only owned the car for nine days at this point. I was told by **; he would fix it with the warranty to get my car fixed even if they had to pay a portion of the amount to fix it. As of today 3/11/24, speaking to him I am still waiting for the warranty and him to come to an agreement to fix the issue.

Firstly, the car had passed the state safety inspection and there was nothing wrong with it. That's why you had chosen to purchase it. Secondly, our warranty paid you $2,500 for a car that was purchased for $4,900, which is enough to fix a clutch issue. But you were trying to get compensated for a brand-new transmission, but you didnt buy a brand-new car. Lastly, I offered you a five years newer, lower mileage car for $3000 more, which youve got $2,500 credit back already, so youll be out of pocket for only $500, I dont know how else I could have helped you.
