AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, unorganized company performing subpar work. Our neighbor’s house caught fire in October 2020, causing some damage to our house as well. We are STILL dealing with repairs from this incident 9 months later. When the project first began, the estimator that initially came out to our property introduced himself as the project manager for the entire series of repairs. This came out to be a total lie as I have dealt with upwards of 4 different individuals presenting themselves as “project managers” for three different divisions of Paul Davis. All of them except one were non-responsive, non-communicative, and always wanted to pass the problem to someone else. When the work first commenced, all of our insulation was removed from our attic in early November by the first “project manager” and his crew. When I followed up with him after not hearing anything about new insulation installation a few days later (and with the temperature dropping to dangerous levels at night), he told me “oh, I don’t handle that, you have to contact the project manager that does installations.” All repairs the house needed followed this pattern until we finally had a competent and communicative project manager handling our painting and carpet installation (shoutout to Nick O. for being the only good communicator/professional throughout this entire experience). After the carpet and paint were completed the crew did NOTHING to clean the home which was essentially destroyed as a construction site. I personally spent an entire weekend deeply cleaning the home and clearing all the construction dust. They also reinstalled heavy blinds with nails instead of screws, causing one set of blinds to fall directly on my head. There were nails put directly through doors after the painting, and some of the closet organizing racks were poorly reinstalled and had places where they had punched entirely through the drywall. Recently, our siding for this project was completed and the crew that did the work was so careless that they punctured/ruined a crucial line from our exterior ac unit going inside, so now I am without AC as the summer heats up. will want to pull your hair out due to all the added stress caused by their lack of communication, overall disorganization of their business, and the subpar and damaging work their crews perform.
