Important information
- Additional Info:The Better Business Bureau has been contacted by consumers who report that they were asked to wire funds in advance to this entity to secure a loan. This practice is illegal and consumers who have interacted with Northgate Financial Services should record their experience with the federal Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3.gov) to bring it t the attention of government enforcement agencies. Our correspondence to the address used by the firm has been returned by the USPS indicating it was not deliverable and not forwardable, and it is unlikely that there ever was a physical presence in this area. The promotion uses internet web sites, fax correspondence, and has consumers send payments by wire, making it virtually untraceable.
The BBB advises consumers looking for loans or mortgage assistance, to check for information about a company through the Better Business Bureau and to check with their own state's mortgage and loan licensing agencies to be sure that they are dealing with companies that are operating under the regulations intended to protect citizens from illegal operations.
