    The transaction in question occurred on 3/20/2023. The office manager at the front desk said my insurance would cover 50% of the gum grafting procedure. I paid Dr. ********** office $3495.00 for the procedure. The office manager said this was an estimate. The dental insurance company said my responsibility was to pay $3372.00. I contacted the dental office and told them there was an overpayment and that I was due a refund. I was scheduled for a reevaluation visit on 4/27/2023. I wanted to cancel, but the office manager said to come in and we would settle the the overpayment. I went in, had the appointment, which was $79.00 and she said she would contact me later about the overpayment. This has not happened as of date. I feel I was lied to and am now being scammed. The money, now $44, is not a lot but I am owed it and I feel I have been taken advantage of.
