    I had followed the main groomer since 2010, but after this groomer/grooming business emotionally devastated me by calling Animal Control on me, threatening me with pushing for a warrant for my arrest and also telling me my dog has Cancer, which at that time my fur son was not diagnosed at previous Vet visit and it is not for a groomer to diagnose. Unfounded by my dog’s doctor, who just saw both of my fur babies approximately 3 months prior to this incident and who knew of my elderly (around 20 years old) dogs declining health issues this past year and usually sees both at least 2-3 times a year since we adopted them (especially him). This diagnosis is only for my Veterinarian to give to us and our Vet has discussed quality of life at previous visits and our wishes over the years. At Christmas 2020 we acknowledged that we may not have our fur son much longer because of his age, past diagnosis from other Vet we had to visit during extended stay away from base Vet and noticeable declining health during the pandemic, but daily he’s been happy eating, walking & cuddling with us. This groomer tried to damage my reputation and career by calling Animal Control where they opened a very short lived case on me, groomer also said to me I was lying about him eating, as well as the time we spend with him. The groomer also made threats to make it if I took them 2 hours to a friends house with me for the weekend (a wedding which I was a part of and was so upset that I almost didn’t make) that the groomer would make sure I would have a warrant out for my arrested, which would have costed me my career. This was so emotionally devastating and made it a highly emotional day, on top of the devastation of hearing our fur son has Cancer from a groomer, which our Vet did confirm that news and said it was not a groomers place to tell us. Groomer squeezed my fur son and did not want me to take my dogs back when refused to give baths and wanted me to surrender my fur son to her so she could put him to sleep, telling me “its my job to call you in and if you can’t afford it I will pay for it” which my financial situation is none of groomers business, and it’s up to our fur son to decide when it’s time to go and our family to decide with Vet if assistance is needed. These are not decisions to be done hastily or emotionally and my fur son and we need to be ready to let go. His quality of life is between our vet and us, which he has had a wonderful life with us and we know he is loved by our family and has grown to be trusting, because he showed signs of his younger years being abused by a young child and a man, but now he feels safe with both. I spoke with my Vet who contacted Animal Control and let them know that she authorized that I could travel with my dogs. My Vet knows I travel everywhere with both my dogs and take care of them with their meds and don’t trust others to take care of them either. I was informed by Vet that after my visit with her she contacted Animal Control Officer about the case and it was closed because officer found from conversations with myself, vet tech and doctor that groomers attack was uncalled for and unfounded. This businesses actions by the lead groomer was brutally and emotionally uncalled for, I am still devastated by the actions!
