Purchased a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited in late May of 2023 with 7000 miles on it. Just took car in this week to Commercial Tire with 13,000 miles on it for an alignment and tire rotation and was informed the car had different brand tires on it and two of them were down to 3/32 tread and need to be replaced ASAP. Was told when I bought the car that they were the original and thus only 7000 miles on them. Called the company and after a few phone calls and emails was informed that since it’s a wearable item and they are doing nothing.

It appears that you have already gone through the claim process with AutoSavvy, and we have concluded our coverage decisions with you. AutoSavvy has determined that we will not provide coverage for the tires as this is a wearable maintenance item. However, we have agreed to reimburse the cost of an alignment.

Purchased a vehicle at the *********** ***** location almost a week ago and was told that all closing paperwork would be emailed that evening or by next day. Here almost a week later and still no paperwork. Communication is difficult as its almost impossible to get anyone on the phone. I have had some communication success through the texting feature that is monitored for new sales leads, however I keep being told that theyre checking on it, etc I honestly cant believe that Im on here complaining over something so simple for them to resolve, but theres no way to effectively communicate with the local folks, and certainly not a corporate number listed ( after seeing the number and types of complaints on the BBB, now I can see why they make it difficult to communicate). Hopefully someone see this and gets this resolved.

Our team has sent the paperwork over again to the email we have on file. Our management team will also reach out to you directly to make sure that you have received it.

      Customer response

      12/20/2023

Interesting that you said that youve sent the information Again to the email on file, as if you had attempted several times I did receive the paperwork yesterday which is one week after the purchase date, but there was no mention of multiple attempts in the email, nor was there any attempts whatsoever by your team to call me to stating that they were having issues reaching out to me.

To the contrary, I made multiple attempts to contact the *********** store only to be routed to an answering machine to leave a message. I even called the main store in **** and managed to speak to a gentleman who heard my story, seemed very concerned and stated that he would transfer me to his manager who represented the corporate store, only to be subsequently transferred to an endlessly ringing line that eventually just hung up on me.

I did have minor success with messaging through your sales lead chat/text service with the salesman that I had made the deal through, however he was of little to no assistance and eventually just stopped responding, which is odd because he seemed very responsive when I was a prospective buyer..

I would hope that it is not your standard for business and would like to give you the benefit of the doubt, however I have found that when big businesses make it particularly difficult to speak with those in charge, they tend to have shady undertones.

I purchased the 2018 **** Focus on October 2023 which I was told that it was ONLY hit on the drivers side door but nothing else was wrong. I took it for a test drive with salesman in the back and the drive seemed smooth, felt a little pull back in excelleration but i did not think it was a biggy.. A week into driving off lot with vehicle I noticed parts of the dash where the air controls are were NOT attached properly, the handle in roof of car on passenger side wasnt attached.(they glued back on).., driver side seat belt was tight and hard to pull to connect, door inside handle was not attached. I also noticed that where the dash is on each side were not the same.. and I mentioned to the mechanic at the time (no longer there) that it looks as if someone took the entire car apart and put it back together and did not do it right. He advised me that when put back together some of the clamps were not attached or put back on to connect. A week after that the same piece on the connected to the air controls fell off and looked as if it was glued back and not clamped togther causing it to come apart yet again.. i also begin to see MORE things..( passenger side back door top rubber part was also not attached along with the back seat by back window clamps like staples were NOT attached to the back either, air vent under hood not attached just there. There is a vibration in the left foot floor area when i drive and/or reverse or turn stiring wheel. After continual calls and even taking it into the shop where the new sales guy took photos and videos of everything said he had to put in a ticket nothing has been resolved. I called main office and was told by ****** that she would have a higher up call me back, which no one has called me back yet.I did take to ********* which they ALSO felt the vibration in floorboard and said that the battery was good, but needed to be charged which would explain why it has a hard time accelarating at first..RESOLVE NEEDED!

I am rejecting this response because:
Yes, they did attempt to repair some of the things I mentioned, (which were in my opinion still just a quick fix)  however not all my issues were resolved, and others due to them stating were cosmetic issue. I left feeling like "getting the sale, and getting me to get the extended warranty " knowing there may be issues was the goal, after that they really didn't want to help without me pushing the issue.

At, this point after realizing they were stuck on NOT helping me with all my concerns/ issues I just said "Forget it" and am not going to continue to go back/forth when they obviously are not wanting to deal with all my concerns as a whole.

      Sincerely,

Bought vehicle with daughter Aug 2023, submitted all requested docs, signed papers for loan, etc 2+ weeks later asked for more docs, they lost. Sept - Too much time has passed so finance company has to run credit again. Again, provided some info, weeks go by, did on boarding call with finance company… then again nothing. Saavy understand it their fault offer to pay 1st month payment. Also offer send meet to have the several credit hits removed. That was just story by GM to get me open credit, he never followed up. Another followup weeks later it now early Oct, need more docs we submitted previously. Another onboarding call with finance Conakry … all is good. Then weeks go by, nothing. Late Oct gotta run credit again… so sorry…need more docs again! Then more weeks go by now it mid November … we can’t get deal done. Write check for vehicle, return it, or we report vehicle stolen. You got 1 day to resolve issue. So they hit credit on me 8+ times, asked over and over for paperwork already had, finance company even sent saying they needed paperwork for Saavy, said same on phone calls to complete deal… it seems strange we come to stage where they mess up and I have 1 day to come to a solution they messed up on for 3+ months - help ?!

6-5-23 I had to fuel a vehicle during a test drive because it was given to me with low fuel. I called them before fueling, to which I was told to keep the receipt and they would reimburse me. When arriving at the dealership, the manager said they don't reimburse for fuel, and the said he would have corporate send me a check. One of the present associates was literally laughing at me. I never received the check, and I've been ignored by them in the meanwhile. Four months later on 10-20-23 a manager actually called me. I explained the situation, to which he laughed at me, and said he would have the alleged check reissued. Egregiously awful customer service.

My 71 year old army, veteran, father bought a 2011 Nissan rogue from Auto Savvy of post falls and trusted the sale person was telling the truth about the car passing inspection and within 30 days of purchasing the car the transmission went out and Auto Savvy refused to do anything about it.

      Business response

      10/19/2023

Our management team has reviewed this claim again. Our denial still stands. The vehicle purchased is a 2011 model year, with over 165,000 miles at the time of purchase. Vehicles with that age and with that mileage do not come with any warranty coverage from AutoSavvy.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: 30 days after buying the vehicle the transmission went out, the sale associate said the vehicle passed an inspection. I only but 700 miles on it from the time I bought it and ended up having to pay another $5000 plus dollars to get it fixed. You
Exploited an elderly retired army veteran for benefit, gain and profit for your business by selling a car that the transmission went out in 30 days later. You financially scammed me.

We purchased a Cadillac xt5 from auto savvy in April, 2023 with an extended warranty. Our check engine light went on about 5 months after our purchase. Turns out it was a transmission problem that was not fixed properly prior to us taking ownership. Neither Auto savvy nor the extended warranty will cover the cost of the fix so we are out of pocket $3,500. Auto savvy has been very difficult to communicate with during this entire process and there is no accountability. We u SEATOs the car was salvaged but we were told by the sales person they did a full inspection and had to make all necessary repairs prior to selling the car.

Purchased a 2020 ***** Ridgeline RLT-E In December of ***************************************************************************************************** front of the gas cap. No mention that it had a selvaged title. Just that the damage was minor and the previous owner forfeited the vehicle because of insurance issues. We recently decided to look for cheaper insurance and discovered they don't take vehicles with those titles. I can't even sell it through the ***** Blue Book app. They don't offer cash buys for such titles. What i want to happen is for the dealer to buy back the truck. That's it. Ceramic window tint was added as well as a rollaway tonneau cover on the box. The service has been kept up to date faithfully.

Purchased a truck and was inform no issues with the truck, as I took the truck to get an oil change I had them look to make sure nothing was wrong with the vehicle then they came back and said there were numerous items wrong with the vehicle along with faulty work, the AutoSavvy company sold me warranty and it did not want to cover the repairs, and the AutoSavvy company did not want to reimburse me for the repairs for the faulty vehicle that was sold. They also requested some to pay cash before purchasing the vehicle after the initial contract was signed as this seemed very shady and never brought up before. AutoSavvy explained because I paid for the repairs they could not do anything. I paid roughly $2400 in repairs for a defective vehicle that was sold to me. Have all documents and communication if needed

I am rejecting this response because: I was advised by the auto savvy company to take it to the dodge ram shop for any repairs as the warranty autosavvy sold me he explained would cover the repairs to the vehicle. The vehicle was sold faulty from the start and now is expecting me to pay the out of pocket expense that the autosavvy company should have made sure it was not faulty. I do not accept the companys response as this is bad as they do not live up to their word. I will persue legal action if this is  it settled.

Our management team has reviewed your claim again. We are standing by our initial decision to decline coverage. AutoSavvy did not have the opportunity to review before repairs were made. It is our company policy to decline any reimbursement request unless we first had a chance to review, and approve the work.

Purchased a vehicle believing it had clean title. Salesman didnt explain we were signing a rebuilt title paper, he did not take time to discuss it. The dealership also charged clean title price for rebuilt title vehicle. A credit union approved the loan for a used title because they didnt see rebuilt title at the time, and they should have accurate information immediately. We had to wait for credit union to call 2 months later after they discovered it was a rebuilt title. Therefore we need the rebuilt price and a refund for the overcharging.
