    I had a poor customer service experience that cost me money with this office. I decided to pay the debt related to the experience rather than spend the additional time and money it would take to fight it, but I feel better at least sharing my experience publicly. -I went in over a year ago for a checkup after having tooth aches and being referred by my insurance provider to make sure I was covered.-I had an appointment for a dental cleaning at a later date but called and let them know my wife just received the results of a positive covid test, so I was under quarantine. -Over a year later I received a call from a collection agency about an unpaid balance over $100+. I had a checkup last year and had insurance, so I was unaware of any bills due. -I went into the dental office, the person at the front desk told me if the collection agency has the file, then she will not give my any info or have any discussions with me. She was very polite about it though and gave me the phone number to the collection agency -- I called and was able to get a copy of the invoice emailed (they already had my email address), but I made it clear to the collector, and the dental office, that they have my insurance info, my prior address, my phone number, and my email address so there is no excuse for the lack of contact for this long. The collector said they did not get any returned mail.-- I found in the billing the amount they charged for services was not fully paid by insurance. So there was a remaining balance after insurance, there was also a fee for the canceled appointment due to covid that I was not expecting, and there were additional finance charges likely due to them sending it to collections.I paid the bill and again, am not even disputing the validity. My issue with this was the lack of effort to contact me about any charges back when I still had the opportunity to discuss things with my insurance and resolve the debt. I dont believe there was any ill intent
