I purchased a used car from the Used Car Factory on 10/28/2021. I found out in December 2022 that the car had a salvage title when I took it to a dealership to try to sell it. I was not told this before purchasing the car as required by law. I was not given written notice that a salvage certificate or a branded title had been issued for the vehicle (41-1a-1004). Also they did not prominently display the form in the lower passenger-side corner of the windshield when the vehicle was displayed or offered for sale. I called the Car Factory as soon as I found out and they pretended they couldn't understand me and hung up on me. I also emailed them about this issue and they did not respond. They also referred me to a predatory lender to finance the purchase of the car.

ABSOLUTE CROOKS WHO WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. My husband and I are first-time car buyers. We both have busy schedules so he took his mom in my place to look at a few cars at this location. He made it 100% clear he had no intention of buying a car until I could come back in a day or two to look at it. We are married and make major purchases together as a team. Holy ****, if my husband was a lump of coal he would be a diamond by now from how much pressure they put on him to make a purchase that day, without his wife. They convinced him if he didn't leave a $500 "refundable" deposit they would sell the car before I could come back with him. My mother in law didn't trust them so she kept asking them to reiterate that if I didn't want the car we would get our money back. It was a third of our down payment, so my husband would have never agreed to a non refundable deposit. Two people in that office told my husband and mother in law that if we didn't want the car we would get our money back. He came home so stressed out from his experience there I asked him the name of the dealership so I could look up reviews. After reading a steady slew of bad reviews I decided I didn't want to take a chance on them. My husband left the refundable deposit there on Monday afternoon and when he came back on Wednesday afternoon they told him they would be keeping to deposit because I didn't physically come in to look at the car before choosing to go elsewhere?? MAYBE YOUR SHADY, MORALLY BANKRUPT BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE WHY I DIDN'T WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH YOU? I will be reporting this to the better business bureau and countless other websites. And before you respond to this by saying you have no record of his visit/deposit like you do to all your other bad reviews, his name is ***************************. And I know you already have his information on file because I was standing next to him when you called to let us know you were keeping our money.
